Kagen named to Ag Committee.
Can Steve Kagen the Wisconsin 8th District Congressman call the cows home? My grandmother used to say by the fence, come bossy, come bossy and there they came. My grandmother may not of been a well educated women but she knew farming. She also knew people that didn't know a thing about farming when she meet them. Glad she never meet Kagen.
Here's my questions.
Would you want a beautician make your daughters wedding cake?
Would you want a stock analyst to build your home?
Would you want a construction worker give you ladies a perm?
Would you want a baker to build a bridge?
Would you want a computer technician to handle your 401K?
Would you want a car technician to run a day care center.
Would you want a veterinarian to fill your cavities?
Don't get me wrong, all these people are experts in their own field. They could do any of these other jobs but not as well as the field they are an expert in.
Yes Steve Kagen is from the dairy state but his expertise is being a medical professional. He calls himself a doctor. Why is he on the Livestock and Dairy House Subcommittee? Steve Kagen would probably try to milk a bull. Steve Kagen would probably feed chickens straw. Do the agriculture people of Wisconsin really think Steve Kagen can help them on an AG committee?
Ron Kind from Wisconsin is on the House Subcommittee on Health. Why isn't Steve Kagen?
Because Nancy Pelosi knows it would be better to keep him far from any health care committee in congress. In Steve Kagens own words, "Plainly put, I will not accept health insurance coverage until everyone I represent in Wisconsin and across America is given the same opportunity." How will he accomplish this if he is inspecting bull semen or tries to evaluate the spreading of liquid cow manure? Come to think of it, he does spread the BS pretty good (first White House visit).
I feel for the farmers in Wisconsin and all that work in agriculture.
Come bossy, come bossy to Congressman Steve Kagen's office.
