Governor Lawton

From Lakeshore Laments.

Maybe a new Wisconsin Gov before we know it.
"Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich invoked his Wisconsin counterpart, Jim Doyle, again today in defending himself against impeachment charges at his Illinois Senate trial.

Among the articles of impeachment is Blagojevich’s program to allow state employees and retirees to import prescription drugs from foreign countries, a program Doyle and other governors also took part in. The impeachment report says that program violated federal law.

Blagojevich said if he is being impeached for that program, Doyle and other governors should be impeached, too. (See the Chicago Tribune’s coverage here.)

Last week, Blagojevich said he would have called Doyle and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, among other witnesses, to testify in his defense but that Illinois Senate rules prevented it." Lakeshore Laments

I bet there will be some who might just bring this up in Wisconsin.

Madam Governor.
