Looking For a Wisconsin 8th District Candidate In 2016

Huh!

So a RINO, Carpetbagger, No Labels guy, who wants to always cross the aisle and get along with democrats from Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District isn't a fan of Trump! Really!

Top Republicans share Ribble's disdain for Trump's call to ban Muslims from traveling to the U.S., but have stopped short of saying they wouldn't support him should he become the party's presidential nominee.

Read more at The Huff Post.

Since I haven't decided on a Presidential candidate as of yet, so can someone tell me what has Ribble done to secure the borders? What has Ribble done to stop Obamacare? Ribble just wants to work with democrats.

"My first oath is to the Constitution of the United States.
Say what! What part of the oath has he upheld?

We have wonder if there is someone with a conservative view that would run against Ribble in 2016.
It would be worth donating to that campaign for sure! Glad Ribbble isn't getting my vote in 2016.

I hate CARPETBAGGERS! When has Ribble since going to Washington done the job he was sent there to do?

Another thing, notice how right wing talk radio in the state just drools and fawns over Ribble? Can you feel the love! I say again, CARPETBAGGER!

What do you think?

Will Trump Candidacy Cost Republican Seats

The Washington elites and those who only bleed republican are having a tough time wondering if they can vote for Trump if he would or could win the candidacy for president. They seem to be pulling down senate and congressional seats down with them.

Medved, who says he believes a “Trump candidacy would guarantee Republican losses in every swing state, as well as possible losses in Texas and Arizona,” added that just because he is questioning whether he could support Trump as the Republican nominee, it doesn’t mean he is considering supporting Clinton, who he was friends with when they both attended Yale Law School in the 1970s.

Read more at the Daily Caller.

If republicans lose Senate and congressional seats in 2016, it will be there own fault for not listening to the people of this country. Do republicans in DC really think the people are S T U P I D? In Wisconsin, do the people of the state really want Russ Feingold back in office? Russ will get the same amount of democrat votes as Tom Barrett did in the last two elections for governor. In Wisconsin there is a finite number that will always vote D even if Mickey Mouse was on the ballot. If Johnson doesn't hear his constituents, he will lose to Russel, his constituents will just skip his vote inside the voting booth.

As for Trump, a lot of what he is saying is connecting with flyover country. But obviously, it not connecting with the Washington elites and most in the republican party. We will take it a step further, it's like local and state right wing radio going off the deep end over Trump. It seems most, not all have jumped the Shark. They keep falling over themselves, seeing who can bash Trump the most and then giving each other high fives and kudos over Twitter, web sites and social media. It's pathetic?

Is it time for conservatives to leave republicans for a different party name? The name republican has been so bastardized by the liberal left, no matter what R's do or say, just stick a fork in em, they're done. Obviously most candidates running for President are not listening to their conservative majority of voters. Conservatives need to find a new party name and leave the name "republican" and it's RINO's to history books like the Wigs and the Federalists.

The Republican Party in DC is not the party it used to be.

Wisconsin Black Students Fall Further

Why is this happening in Wisconsin? Who's to blame? The headline.

Wisconsin graduation gap between white, black students tops in nation
Preliminary data shows the state's overall graduation rate for the 2013-2014 school year went up to 88.6 percent. While the rate for white students improved to 92.9 percent, the graduation for black students held steady (66.1%), meaning they fell further behind.

Read more at WTAQ.

Question, who is running the State's Department of Education?

Question, what good are the teachers unions doing for Wisconsin students?

Question, with Milwaukee and Madison having the highest number of black students, who is running Milwaukee and Madison, republicans or democrats?

Question, how many promises do democrats make to get people to vote for them?

Question, what does voting for democrats do for the poor children and in this case, black students in Wisconsin?

No, this is not the fault of Scott Walker and Republicans from Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Pot With Colorado Ties

Hemp, Pot? What ever you want to call it, it seems the Obama administration took action against the Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin.

Officials with the Drug Enforcement Agency say the plants were high-grade marijuana plants. Menominee Tribal Chairman Gary Besaw says no, that was industrial hemp.
On Friday, bulldozers were filling dump trucks with the plants from a field just west of Suring.
According to the DEA, the pot growing operation was led by growers from Colorado.

The full story from WTAQ.

Wow, why would the tribe bring in people from Colorado? Is there money being exchanged for services? There are plenty of people in the area that would grow pot for free.

Tribe not happy. If the Menominee are mad about the Feds taking their hemp, why not shut down the reservation like in the 1970's? Block all the roads and protest the government! Oh, that's right, there's a casino in Keshena. Can't kick the gamblers out of the county.

With Menominee being the poorest county in Wisconsin, why do the people of the Menominee Nation put up with leadership that can't seem to do anything good for it's people. And why do the voters of the county since the beginning of time always vote for democrats who keep them poor, and government dependent just for their vote?

Sad!

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Classic Rock WYDR/GREEN BAY has flipped to Adult Hits 94.3 JACK-FM, effective at noon (CT)

94.3 JACK-FM will operate without disc jockeys but all music is locally programmed, merging thousands of hit songs from the '70s, '80s, '90s, '00’s and current, with a playlist "four times larger than the typical NORTHEAST WISCONSIN radio station. MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS' NASHVILLE station WCJK (96.3 JACK-FM), has proven extremely successful in that market.

Why do I want to hear Michel Jackson or any music from the "00"? Where is Classic Rock!

I guess 105.3 WRLO out of Rhinlander is the only and last Classic Rock in Northern Wisconsin.

Voting For President Obama Get's You This

The last two presidential elections results from Menominee County, a reservation in north central Wisconsin gave the election overwhelmingly to President Obama. In fact the people of Menominee county vote almost 100% democrat every election. We do give credit for a handful on the reservation for not always towing the democrat line. There are some brave people who vote republican or conservative.

What does voting democrat and helping President Obama get elected twice get you in return?

Back To The Future 2015, Ties To Calumet Michigan

Since today is Back To The Future day, 2015, we give you some future trivia information concerning the head of discipline and Calumet Michigan.

James Stewart Tolkan (born June 20, 1931) is an American actor, often cast as a strict, overbearing, bald-headed authority figure.

Tolkan was born in Calumet, Michigan, the son of Marjorie and Ralph M. Tolkan,[3] a cattle dealer, and attended the University of Iowa, Coe College, the Actors Studio and Eastern Arizona College.[4] Tolkan currently lives in Lake Placid, New York.

What other famous person is from Calumet Michigan?

Hint, he was played by Ronald Reagan in a movie!

Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Walker, Republicans, Democrats and The Media

We find this at Rush Limbaugh.com. It starts around 17 - 18 minutes in hour 2. It's an interesting read or listen at his site. The discussion really hits home with a lot of voters in this country and in the state of Wisconsin.

Caller: George W. Bush gave us Obama. Bush didn’t fight back against smears.

The bottom line, George W. Bush let the democrats and the media roll all over. He wouldn't stand up to negative attacks that were not true.

We wonder why in Wisconsin, Scott Walker and most in the Wisconsin Senate and Assembly let the democrats and the media roll them almost all of the time? It was a joke in the Wiscosnin Senate today while they were voting on amendments to the States John Doe laws.

What do they get? John Doe, lies about the budget surplus, and on and on and on! Obviously Scott Walker was not ready for Washington. Walker got rolled by democrats and the media and decided to take his toys and went home.

When will republicans stand up to democrats. In Wisconsin and in Washington.

It's like, the 8th District Congressman in Wisconsin is proud he is a No Labels guy who just wants to get along with democrats! We didn't send a carpetbagger to Washington to get along with the left!

Wisconsin Democrats Busy At John Doe Hearing, Coupon Watch

Watching Wisconsin Eye on the John Doe tabling of Democratic amendments, we see how hard Wisconsin democrats are working against t.

While Sen. Lena Taylor is speaking, looks like Sen. Tim Carpenter is looking through coupons from his Sunday paper or this weeks ads from a local Target, Walmart or Farm and Fleet.

If you go back to Wisconsin Eye, Sen. Taylor is speaking at 3:15 pm, you can see Carpenter page through some adds and not focusing on the business his constituents sent him there to perform.

Link to Wiscosnin Eye

The hearing is just a scam by Wisconsin democrats. We don't understand how republicans are letting this sham pass. If the shoe was on the other foot, would democrats let republicans speak? Taylor, Carpenter, Lassa and Fred Risser would tell them , you lost, so sad, too bad!

Two Election Clerks Want To Keep Wisconsin GAB

Major breaking news! The following headline.

Election clerks register support for state’s embattled Government Accountability Board

So two election clerks, one, out of 72 counties in the state and one from the hundreds of cities and voting districts in the state want to keep the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board as is. Notice the two are from Dane County. Surprise, surprise, surprise!

And this is a news story?

New Diet Pepsi

Though we have yet to try the new Diet Pepsi, we wonder if the taste has changed.

Diet Pepsi's move to replace its artificial sweetener -- from aspartame to sucralose -- in August has prompted a flurry of negative comments online from customers who aren't big fans of the new taste, but it's not the first time a soda company has taken a risk by making a change to its recipe.

Aspartame, also found in NutraSweet and Equal, has been a source of controversy, even though studies have yet to link the artificial sweetener to negative health effects in humans.

More from ABC

Have you tried new Pepsi? How does it taste?

What Is Scott Walker Waiting For

What is Wisconsin Governor waiting for? Who is Scott Walker trying to impress? The Media? The democrats?

WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL STOUGHTON — Gov. Scott Walker said Thursday he may appoint a new justice to the state Supreme Court this week.

Walker said he interviewed the three applicants on Wednesday for an opening on the state’s highest court after the death of Justice N. Patrick Crooks on Sept. 21.

Read more at the Green Bay Press Gazette.

First, former Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle would of appointed someone with in days of the Justice being buried. And the media would be praising Doyle for making the decision so fast and appointing a liberal left judge that he wanted. Oh, that's right, Doyle appointed Louis B. Butler back in2004.

And why is Walker interviewing two other people for the opening on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Just appoint Rebecca Bradley. What is he waiting for?

Walker screwed up his presidential aspirations and now looks like he is messing up being Governor of Wisconsin.

As Walker has told everyone, he was elected three times in four years. The people who put him in office want him to do what they elected him to do.

How shall we say this, Gov. grow a pair or crap and get off the pot!!!!!!

Wisconsin 8th Rep. Ribble Showing True Colors

 This is no surprise, yaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnn.

WASHINGTON – Rep. Reid Ribble, R-Sherwood, has dropped out of the secretive Freedom Caucus, the conservative Republican group that upended the election Thursday for House speaker.

Ribble has always been more moderate than many of the caucus’s members. He voted to fund the government in 2013 without requiring changes to the Affordable Care Act, something more conservative members refused to do, triggering a government shutdown.
Full Story from Green Bay Press Gazette.

First, as the article states, Ribble is from Sherwood Wisconsin. Remember when Ribble was running for congress. He gave a DePere address, an apartment while his wife lived at his home in Sherwood. We called it at the time, he was and will always be a CARPETBAGGER.

Second, when was Ribble ever conservative? Ribble, more moderate, pleeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee!

He has been a RINO ( for those in Pleasant Valley, RINO stands for Republican In Name Only) since he was elected. Ribble and other elites like Boehner and McConnell in Washington is why we are in the trouble we are in. Ribble would rather cozy up with liberal democrats than straighten out the trouble with this country. It is too bad the voters of the 8th Congressional District are not up to speed on Ribble's charlatans ways.

The problem we the voters have is, Ribble was and will always be a RINO! He will keep getting more campaign money from the Washington elites. Ribble leaving the Freedom Caucus is not a surprise.

Ribble is showing his true colors.

AFT Dropping Big Bucks On Politics/Clintons

A whole lot of union member dues going to politics on the left. Oh, to the Clinton's too!

The 2015 American Federation of Teachers annual report shows a left-wing political machine humming on all cylinders — with teachers buying the gas.

For the fiscal year ending June 30, the union reported $37.6 million in political activity and lobbying expenditures, a $12.7 million increase from the previous year.

Even more political spending was tucked away elsewhere in AFT’s annual U.S. Department of Labor filing, reported as “Contributions, Gifts and Grants,” “General Overhead” or “Representational Activities.”

AFT paid union president Randi Weingarten, one of the nation’s most prominent “progressive” activists, a total of $497,118. The union reported only 2 percent of her time as political activity.

AFT donated $250,000 to the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation in February, $125,000 to Clinton Global Initiative in April and another $125,000 to Clinton Global Initiative in May. In December, AFT paid Clinton-allied opposition research group American Bridge 21st Century $100,000.

Read more at Watchdog.org

How long can the AFT keep shelling out this kind of money to the left and the Clinton's? Do they really have an endless stream to dump this kind of cash on democrats and Hillary?

McDonalds All Day Breakfast Not What You Think

If you go to McDonald's and they are now serving all day breakfast items, shouldn't you have the choice of their morning breakfast menu?

The long-awaited menu for breakfast fans will vary by location. For those who love McGriddle sandwiches, you're out of luck. That item isn't a part of the all-day breakfast menu in any markets, so you'll be skipping on those 450 to 570 calories. Bagel sandwiches, cinnamon melts and "Big Breakfast" platters aren't included in the all-day menu either.

See more at ABC News.

Is this false advertising? If they say all day breakfast, shouldn't they offer all their breakfast items? Shouldn't they advertise limited breakfast items served all day? What would Ray Kroc say or do?

Where's my bagel steak and onions sandwich?

Guess we go to Hardee's or Burger King for breakfast.

U.S. Employment For July, August Revied Down

 Economy booming????????????????????????????????????

Something you didn't hear or see in the main stream media last week.

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for July was revised from +245,000 to +223,000, and the change for August was revised from +173,000 to +136,000. With these revisions, employment gains in July and August combined were 59,000 less than previously reported. Over the past 3 months, job gains have averaged 167,000 per month.

Hillary, "I Didn't Do It, Nobody Saw Me Do It, There's No Way You Can Prove Anything"

Interesting, Hillary Clinton is trying to act just like Bart Simpson about Benghazi.

Two questions.

In a nationally televised New Hampshire town hall event broadcast on NBC’s “Today,” Clinton accused Republicans of exploiting the deaths of four Americans in the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, to score political points against her, crowed about her national and early-voting state polling leads and made impassioned liberal arguments for gun control and income equality.
Clinton’s strongest moment came when she was angered by a suggestion from co-anchor Savannah Guthrie that if the roles were reversed, she would investigate a member of the Republican administration for using a personal email account and server.

“I would never have done that,” Clinton shot back. “Look at the situation they chose to exploit to go after me for political reasons, the death of four Americans in Benghazi. I knew [Ambassador Christopher Stevens]. I identified him. I asked him to go there. I asked the president to nominate him.” I identified him",

Read more at The Hill.

One, no she wouldn't have gone after a republican if they had their own server, etc., etc., she would have other democrats do her dirty work.

Two, what did she mean by "I identified him"? about  Ambassador Christopher Stevens?Did she ID the body?

Republican Candidate For More Green Energy Mandates

Hummmmm!

Ohio lawmakers looking to extend a freeze on state “green energy” mandates will have to find a way past Gov. John Kasich.

Kasich immediately shot down as “unacceptable” a legislative study committee’s Wednesday recommendation the state extend its current two-year mandate freeze indefinitely.

When Kasich signed Senate Bill 310 last year, he agreed to pause the phase-in of energy efficiency and alternative electricity generation mandates adopted in 2008 — and to create the Energy Mandates Study Committee, whose guidance he seems set on ignoring.

The governor’s public opposition to an extended freeze isn’t the only sign he’ll fight for increased mandates. Kasich reportedly threatened to veto a version of SB 310 that would have locked the mandates at 2014 levels.

More at Ohio Watchdog.

If this is his stance on green energy, what will he want if elected president?

Another reason for not Kasich in 2016.

UW Oshkosh Students Need Construction 101

Seems the students building this house for World Habitat Day forgot to use treated lumber for the bottom of the house.

Following from UW Oshkosh Twitter.

Regular lumber will rot from moisture in contact with the ground or cement.

Hillary, Is There Trouble In Paradise

There seems to be some unrest towards Hillary Clinton. The teachers union members are not the only ones questioning following Hillary over the cliff.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is a dear friend of a fiery teachers union leader, she speaks out against the bombardment of standardized testing that dismays educators, and she never misses a chance to say how enamored she is with those who teach.

Many teachers are less enamored with her, however.

One of the most hotly debated issues among rank-and-file educators this week is whether Clinton deserves their support. Many are saying no — or at least, not yet — and calling upon their state leaders to resist a move by the president of the union representing 3 million teachers to endorse Clinton.

Afghan Strike, Children, Doctors Killed, "Nothing Here, Move Along"

The story about an airstrike by US / NATO forces. Doctors and children killed!

Where's the outrage?

U.S. officials have launched an investigation after 12 local staff members of Doctors Without Borders and at least seven patients, three of them children, were killed after an explosion near their hospital in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz that may have been caused by a nearby airstrike.

In a statement, the international charity said the "sustained bombing" took place Saturday at 2:10 a.m local time. Afghan forces backed by U.S. airstrikes have been fighting to dislodge Taliban insurgents who overran Kunduz on Monday.

Fox News.

What would the news cycle look like if the President was Carson, Cruz or Fiorina. Would the left be calling for war crime investigations? The president should resign? Would there be massive protests in front of the White House?

Of course all from above and more would be true. But with a democrat president, chirp, chirp, silence, "nothing here move along" from the media across the land.

Will NASCAR Restart Rule Be Called Fair or Fowl

NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon pulls into the pits ...

We know a lot of BIG K fans are upset but we have to wonder, will NASCAR call it as it happens or look the other way for some drivers and not for others?

I know there are a lot of fans out there, especially Keselowski fans, who are upset because of the seemingly inconsistent rule calls on restarts by NASCAR.

Let me state up front here, I am okay with the penalty on Sunday, if and only if this is where the bar is set now and NASCAR keeps it consistent. Don't move the bar to here and then move it back next week. NASCAR is the umpire and they have said this is the strike zone.

Damn it to hell, then make sure you call it a strike every time it is a strike in that zone. Don't be moving the strike zone anymore.

Fox Sports

With the new restart rule, will Jimmy Johnson or Jeff Gordon get a pass? What will happen if the 88 break the start rule?

NASCAR bends a lot for certain drivers. the rest get fined, penalized or banned for what others get away with.

Is this the right answer to give after the tragedy in Oregon?

Jeb Bush spoke at a South Carolina forum on Friday and said that it wasn’t the government’s role to respond to mass shootings, like the murder of nine people at an Oregon community college this week.

EDUCATION PROOF: Helicopter Parenting Has Created A Generation Of Traumatized, Risk-Averse WUSSES

America’s college students are delicate, immature wusses who become traumatized, get the vapors and seek professional counseling any time they face adversity or — God forbid — earn a grade lower than a “B.”

The insight comes from Boston College research professor Peter Gray, writing last week at Psychology Today.

Gray explains that he has participated in discussions at Boston College with the head of counseling services and other faculty members about how to deal with a notable decrease in resilience among students. The problem of weak-willed, fragile, gutless students at the $63,302-per-year Jesuit school has been severe, Gray learned.

Illinois Lottery Drops WGN To Save Money

The Lotto Powerball logo
The Lotto Powerball logo (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Seems with all problems in the Land of Lincoln, they came up with one good way to save money, even though they can't pay off Lottery winners.

Lottery changes drawing Beginning today you’ll no longer see Illinois Lottery drawings for various games on WGN-TV. Instead, you’ll have to get the winning numbers from the Lottery website. A news release from the Illinois Lottery indicates halting the quarter-century practice of airing the winning numbers on TV will allow the Lottery to take their live lottery drawings in a different direction to a new digital draw system using Random Number Generation to select the winning numbers. The Lottery now uses RNG systems for so-called quick picks at retail locations as well as selecting winning numbers for raffle games.

Read full story at IL news

We wonder if the Wisconsin Lottery pays for advertising on T V to report the winning numbers? We know they advertise, but who stays up to see the winning numbers. Everything is faster online! It's called the World Wide Web!

The media always reports big jackpots or big winners for free anyway.

With almost everyone having a cell , let them look it up on the web site!

Green Bay, Packer G-Line Bus, A Bust

A good idea but didn't work.

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The special "G-Line" bus route which ran from downtown Green Bay to the Lambeau Field area has been halted.

The two-month trial period began July 22, and Green Bay Metro Transit Director Patty Kiewiz says the service was halted within the last week.

When they launched the service, there were no expectations or projections on ridership levels given. Kiewiz says total ridership for the 2 months was about 4,000 people.

Read full story at WTAQ here.

First, the bus line starts at the bus station. Why would you park your car at the bus station and then take a bus to Lambeau or Cabela's? The bus station is next to a paper mill, R E A L L Y!!!!!

Why didn't the route start at Lambeau, go to Cabela's, run down Holmgren Way to the Mall, a stop at Titletown Brewing and back to Lambeau. You know, a Packer, Shop, Eat route for fans from outside of Green Bay would use.

Second, the Transit Director calls this a success?  Let's look at the numbers. 4000 divided by 60 (two months) = 66 riders per day. Divide 66 divided by a 10 hour shift ( maybe 9:00 am to 7:00pm), that 7, (S E V E N) people per hour.

Who thought this up? I would think the Packers Marketing department has better ideas for a bus route.

The bus was even free and couldn't make it. If it was a true Packer G-Line, people would even pay a buck or two to ride it. How about a three dollar day pass. The Packers could buy their own bus and wouldn't loose money on the deal. Maybe that's what they ill do.

This is what you get when you get city government involved.

What do you think?

Brewers Zach Davies Impressive

Looking good so far. Brewers win 5-0.

SAN DIEGO-Zach Davies continues to impress his new team.

Davies (3-2) pitched seven innings and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Diego Padres 5-0 on Wednesday night.

In his sixth start since being acquired in a trade with the Baltimore Orioles, Davies did not allow a run for a second consecutive outing. He struck out six, walked two and finished the season with 15 straight scoreless innings.

Full story from BN-D.

When, if, Davies becomes a star, will the Brewers let him go or trade him because the won't be able to pay his high salary?

Is Davies a trade enticement?

Labor Unions Piggy Bank

Nothing here, move along.

Under President Obama, federal agencies are doling out tens of millions of dollars to one of the Democratic Party’s most essential constituencies: big labor.

The grants range from safety training to union membership recruitment to whipping up support for the president’s signature program called Obamacare, a Washington Times review of federal contracting records shows.

Last week, for example, the Department of Energy awarded a $900,000-plus grant for the development of a safety regimen for workers facing hazardous duties in energy and waste jobs. It didn’t go to a safety firm or training school but rather to a labor union: Akron International Chemical Workers Union. And the local Democratic congressman in Ohio got to score some political points with his blue-collar constituents by announcing it.

Lake Michigan Chinook Salmon's Numbers Plummeting

This is surprising.

They are the king of the Great Lakes sport fish, luring thousands of anglers to Michigan waters every year for a chance to try to land them — and helping fuel a multibillion-dollar fishing and boating tourism industry.

But the Chinook salmon's numbers are plummeting in Lake Michigan due to a combination of natural forces, unnatural invasive species, and the state Department of Natural Resources' own efforts to dial back the population and prevent a more permanent population crash as happened in Lake Huron about a decade ago.

The salmon population on Lake Michigan is down 75% from its 2012 peak, said Randy Claramunt, a DNR Great Lakes fishery biologist based in Charlevoix.

Story from Detroit Free Press.

So where is the Wisconsin DNR on this story?

Wisconsin Congressman Punts On Planned Parenthood

So why did Glenn Grothman go to Washington?

Grothman: Congress Won't Defund Planned Parenthood

GOP Congressman Downplays Talk Of Government Shutdown

Wisconsin U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman says his fellow congressional Republicans won't immediately defund Planned Parenthood, and they won't shut down the government trying.

While Grothman said he’d like to defund Planned Parenthood at the federal level, he told Wisconsin Public Radio’s Joy Cardin that right now, "it’s not going to happen."

"We could shut down the government, but we've seen in the past after a week or two weeks or three weeks, eventually the public is mad and we wind up going ahead with the funding anyway," Grothman said.

"We have to worry about getting reelected," Grothman said. "We want to get a Republican elected president, and a government shutdown hurts the Republican Party, so we're not going to do that."

Grothman said he thinks the same will be true in December, when Congress faces another short-term spending vote and another potential shutdown.

Full story from NPR.

Washington elites talking points on shutdown.

It seems the fighter when in Madison has changed since going to Washington DC. Are the voters of Grothman's district having buyers remorse?

Why do politicians fight during their election and change when they get to Washington?

Madison Moves Forward With Jim Doyle Square

I know what your thinking, no this isn't about former Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. It is however about the father of Gov. Jim Doyle.

Madison is planning a square named after a Democrat Judge James Doyle, a Federal Judge from the late 60's and 70's.

UPDATE: MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison City Council passed the Judge Doyle Square project in a 12 to six vote early Wednesday morning. The motion passed at 3:15 a.m. after nearly nine hours of questions, comments and debate in a special council meeting.

The two-block area downtown includes the Madison Municipal Building and the East Government parking garage.

The development plan would cost a total of about $200 million, with about $47 million coming from the city, the rest coming from the developer. The plan includes building a 250,000 square feet headquarters for Exact Sciences, a 216 room hotel and about 30,000 square feet of retail space. There will also be public and private parking spaces.

We do wonder when the left in Mad Town will name something after the former Governor Jim Doyle. It will happen sooner than you think.

Will Walker Name Bradley To Supreme Court

What's taking so long? As older people used to say, crap or get off the pot!
UPDATED: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 --- 4:34 p.m. MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is sending signals that he may appoint state Appeals Court Judge Rebecca Bradley to a vacancy on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Walker sent a Twitter message Tuesday saying there is precedent for governors appointing justices to the court who may later run for the seat. He then cited a pair of examples.
Walker has twice named Bradley to judicial appointments before, and she has the backing of conservatives in the officially nonpartisan race.
Jim Doyle would appointed his person with in days and the media would be praising him for his quick resolute.

No matter what Walker does, the left and the media won't like it. Walker should just apoint Bradley and get it over with.

Teamsters Refuse Hillary

 Has hell freezeth over???????????
TEAMSTERS OFFICIALS WANT TO MEET WITH DONALD TRUMP!
Teamsters officials met behind closed doors today. The union refused to endorse Hillary Clinton for president.
The officials told FOX News they want to meet with Donald Trump.
We wonder about the Teamsters from Wisconsin?

Fox Biz Beats CNBC

We wonder why it took this long?
For the first time ever, a Fox Business Network program has topped a CNBC program in total viewers for an entire month.

Lou Dobbs Tonight beat CNBC in total viewers for the month of September. CNBC aired a variety of shows, including West Texas Investors Club and The Profit. Dobbs has previously beaten CNBC in the key A25-54 demo, but this is the first win for in both viewers and the demo.
We wonder when will Joe Kernan leave CNBC for Fox Biz. Another question, how can Joe stand it with all those liberals?

To be up front, haven't watched CNBC for a long time.

Fond du Lac Union Members, Do The Math

Map of Wisconsin highlighting Fond du Lac County
Map of Wisconsin highlighting Fond du Lac County (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
It seems Fond du Lac County workers are making less money than their non union co workers. It seems because of ACT 10, they are capped on wage increases.

County considers workaround of Act 10 restrictions for union: "Act 10 removed the ability of public employees unions to negotiate for anything but a pay increase limited to the Consumer Price Index. The county board approved a 1.57-percent increase for the union's members, which is the maximum allowed under the law this year.
Other non-union county employees received a 2-percent increase without similar restrictions at the beginning of the year.
"In other words, this group is being penalized by the state because they didn't decertify their union," Board Chairman Martin Farrell said.
Marx recommended the board approve a supplemental pay increase for the more than 70 employees affected to make up for the difference. The extra pay would work like a bonus, being paid once in a lump sum in the first pay period of December."

If the union members would just do they math, they would be coming out ahead. If they decertify the union they would get a higher wage increase and keep their union dues. It a win, win to throw out the union. What's so hard about keeping more of their own money!

Do the math people!

Wisconsin's Walker Needs To Change

Michael Dukakis on tank

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was in Iowa over the weekend riding a cycle with Iowa's Senator Joni Ernst.

Will someone please tell Mr. Walker he needs to wear a better looking helmet and a pair of sunglasses. Get rid of the bowl helmet and the safety glasses! Looks as bad as"Dukakis in the tank in 1988 or John F Kerry in the bubble wrap at NASA in 2004.

New Wisconsin Democrat Party Chair

Will Martha Laning carry on as former Wisconsin state Chair Mike Tate?

Laning was elected Saturday as the new chair of the state democrat party.

Her basic plan to lift the dem party of Wisconsin out of it's obscurity is messaging.

This and more from her web site.
Messaging » Martha Laning for Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair: "In the past several electoral cycles, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin has failed in its attempt to connect with Wisconsin voters. The fundamental problem is that our message is not resonating with voters across the state. The Democratic preference for detailed, fact-filled messaging seems to leave glazed-over voters in our communication wake.
Republicans, on the other hand, are masterful storytellers. They consistently show vs. tell voters about issues and candidates by using emotional stories and anecdotes instead of facts and figures. They've had great success positioning themselves as real people reaching out to real people. As much as we'd like to believe otherwise, voters often choose their candidates on the basis of perceived chemistry, and if that candidate champions their most pressing personal issues, so much the better. "

Language choice goes far beyond good grammar and political correctness, as we learn from Dr. George Lakoff. Lakoff taught linguistics at Berkeley, CA. He authored the book, Don’t Think of an Elephant: Know your values and frame the debate. This is bedrock. I will establish a Messaging Task Force made up of an equal representation of stakeholders from all levels of the party and areas of our state. We will:
Time will tell if Laning uses the Lakeoff spin towards voters and will she get the full participation of the Wisconsin media to help her pull the wool over the eyes of the people of Wisconsin. What do you think?

Jerry Bader in Northeastern and Central Wisconsin talk radio should have a field day with this on Monday.

Update: Also reported by Jerry Bader, Laning recently just joined the Wisconsin democrat party. She didn't know you had to be a pay money to join the democrat party? Wisconsin dem party front and center!  Link to JSOnline story.

Is Hillary Looking For Voter Fraud In Wisconsin??

Are democrats and the Hillary Clinton Camp looking for fraudulent votes in the 2016 election?

Wisconsin Voting Rights: Lawsuit By Hillary Clinton Lawyer Calls State's Laws Discriminatory, Restrictive: "A top Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer filed a lawsuit last week against Wisconsin, accusing the state of having discriminatory and restrictive voting laws. While Marc Elias did not mention either Clinton or Gov. Scott Walker in the May 29 filing, the suit could be construed as an implicit challenge to Walker's governing in what may be an important battleground state next year as presidential campaigning heats up.
“We are aware of [the lawsuit] and strongly support its goal of ensuring the right to vote is not unduly burdened,” Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Clinton, said in a statement. Clinton’s aides said that the lawsuit was not filed on behalf of the campaign."

Sure seems it!

State Could Move Out of Madison / Milwaukee

The GOP-led budget committee in Madison passed something good for the people of Wisconsin.

The state is considering relocating state agencies out of Madison or Milwaukee if it could save the state money. Example, what if the DNR was located in Stevens Point?

Of course, democrats are screaming, trying to save Madison that is known as the Kremlin of the west.
You can read the story over at the Green Bay Press Gazette.

This could certainly help other areas of the state and also end the left leaning stranglehold that Mad town has now.
