Ouch, this has got to hurt!

Why does Susan Estrich know what's going on and republicans are clueless? Maybe she should be the leader of the Republican party. Rush, they found your replacement. Hey guys, this isn't rocket science you know.

You can't make this stuff up.
"But do you see the Republicans turning it into an opportunity? To do what? It's not just that the Democrats blew it on this one. It's that moments like this are an opportunity if there's anybody else out there with something to say worth listening to. And I don't mean Glenn or Rush — they're doing just fine. I mean the people who do, or should, call themselves the leaders of the Republican Party, or who should make way for others who could fill those shoes." A New Begining for Conservatives

Jerry Bader from WTAQ in Green Bay discussed his thesis from the vote on the AIG 100% tax vote on Mach 19,2009. Here is a link to the pod cast from his show.

Jerry's belief is " the republican party, if not the conservative movement is dead"!

Update. I will not change my post but I will say I was wrong in assuming Jerry Bader was saying the conservative movement was also dead. Shame on me and you can see assume starts with ass which I will admit I am at times. From listening to the podcast I really did not get a strong clarification of the conservative movement. From the conversation of everyone, including callers, everyone is missing the boat which was the reason for my post. I still stand with Mr Bader and agree with the statement that the republicans party is dead. I still don't understand why people will not admit we need a new party. Mr Bader, I hope you accept my apology for misinterpreting your statements.

I will agree with Jerry on only half. The republican party did die yesterday. As Jerry mentioned the toe tag is on the body. After seeing 85 republicans voting against the United States Constitution. Link to the list of turn coats from Michelle Malkin. God forgive me for saying the republican party is a thing of the past. Gone! No more contributions, no more bumper stickers , no more road signs. Please take my name off all your mailing lists! Did I say no more contributions!

O K, Jerry also asked what do we do now? You can turn around and most people who believe in this country are alone. Not so fast. Sorry Jerry the republican party may be dead but the conservative movement is alive and will keep going forward without the republican party.

Conservatives are not a part of the republicans that work with liberals to take away our freedoms. Conservatives do not vote on confiscating Americans private property. Conservatives do not trample on our constitution. There are a few republicans that are conservative, only one in Wisconsin namely Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner. You can hear Mr Sensenbrenner, he was on Charlie Sykes show at WTMJ and you can hear it here.

Thank you Mr Sensenbrenner for standing up for us.

Contrary to what some might believe or think, there is a difference between republicans of today and conservatives of today. My God, Ronald Reagan cannot be happy looking down on the party he lead in the 80's. We thought the republicans of today were the ones that would protect our freedom, protect us from big government. We thought we could believe what they told us but their rhetoric turned into empty promises. We seen them turn into RINO's before our eyes.

The only direction conservatives can take is to start our own party. The Conservative Party is our only hope to someday save this country. To those that say I am crazy, nuts, you can't do it, I say, watch us! I am not the only one to believe this.

On March 7th I attending a tax revolt tea party in Green Bay. If Jerry Bader is correct then the Tea Parties are also dead. Jerry, I disagree. I did not see republicans at the Tea Party, I seen conservative Americans who cared about our country. Conservative Americans who want less government, less taxes and our freedom as Americans given back to us.

Will you keep the status quo, then follow the republicans that do not represent us and follow them off the cliff! Follow them when they vote for more money for bailouts. Follow them when they tell you they have to raise more of your taxes to save you from crises and despair. Follow them when they tell you they are the only ones to help you. Go follow them.

If you believe in our constitution, if you believe in less government, if you believe we need to start over and rebuild this country then join us. We are done with politicians who are only in government for power, greed and money.

I do not know who our leaders will be but they will surface and lead us forward. I cannot give you any names but they will show themselves. They will speak to us. They will tell us, we as Americans have the power to change this country.

They will tell us in ways like President Reagan,
"Government is not the solution to our problems; government is the problem."

"Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged."

"I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there's purpose and worth to each and every life."
Thank You Mr Reagan.

Who will they be? Who knows? I do know this, they will come, they will lead us. How long will it take, who knows. No matter the length of time it will be worth the time it takes to give us back the country our forefathers gave us over 200 years ago. It may take many years to have people understand what we stand for but it will happen,

If you are scared, we are with you. If you are concerned about big government, we are also. If you want your country back, we agree. Join us to start a new group of Americans that are MAD AS HELL AND WON'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

The CONSERVATIVE PARTY begins today, March 20, 2009. We shall celebrate every year the first day of spring and shall always celebrate the beginning of the conservative party.

Join us, we need you, we cannot do it without you.

It's time to unite the Conservative people of this great country of ours.

If you believe like I believe, spread the word.

AIG Tax Vote, One Conservative Standing In Wisconsin

From the Biz Times.com

This is interesting!
Sensenbrenner votes against taxing AIG bonuses

Published March 19, 2009 - BizTimes Daily

"In the Wisconsin Congressional delegation, seven members voted for the bill: Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee); David Obey (D-Wausau); Tammy Baldwin (D-Madison); Ron Kind (D-La Crosse); Paul Ryan (R-Janesville); Thomas Petri (R-Fond du Lac); and Steve Kagen (R-Green Bay).
The sole member of the Wisconsin delegation who voted against the bill was Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner (R-Menomonee Falls).
It was not immediately clear about whether the bill would withstand a legal challenge." Sensenbrenner votes against taxing AIG bonuses - BizTimes

Look, they put Steve Kagen as a "R" republican. During the 80's I would call it an insult. Today it's the way RINO's vote anyway so I guess I can call him a republican!
They must be right because it looks like there is no difference between democrats and republicans in Wisconsin except for one, Sensenbrenner!

Tommy Petri is a RINO and needs to be replaced in his district! What a excuse for a politician.

Hey, can somebody from Paul Ryan's district tell me why he voted for this bill? I thought he is one of the upcoming leaders of the party. The wonder boy, the fiscal conservative. Did Paul Ryan hit a tree and is BRAIN DEAD? Somebody tell me the paper got it wrong! Is this a nightmare? You, the constituents of Paully Ryan have to explain this one to me. How can he single out any group or person and confiscate close to 100% of a persons wages or money they have coming. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!

First Paully voted for the bail out last fall, (I didn't understand but gave him a pass) and now he is signing off on a power grab of private citizens.

That's it, the republican party finally put the nail in their coffin. Please do not send me any letters begging for money for the republican party. And where was Mr. Steele on this? You republicans out there can take a flying leap! Take a leap off any bridge that will be built with the stimulus! Walk in front of any city bus that we the taxpayers pay for! Find the nearest "I" system that is being fixed by the porkulas bill and find a semi to kiss! The republican party is history, done, ended! I dare any so called republican to tell me what I missed here!

At least we have one person in Wisconsin that believes in the constitution and believes in the rights our fore fathers gave us.

Jim Sensenbrenner, could you please move to Green Bay and run against Kagen next year. Jim, maybe you should think of changing parties. How about you start the Conservative Party. We're looking for leaders of a new partry.

Thank You Jim Sensenbrenner for doing the right thing.

I sure hope Biz Times got Ryan's vote wrong.

Worries of limit on walleye for hook-and-line anglers dismissed
Doug Etten
Sports Reporter

By just three votes, 95-92, Lac du Flambeau tribal members upheld the long-standing agreement the tribe has had with the state that in effect helps set the number of fish speared from area lakes and thus the bag limits for hook-and-line anglers.

The long-standing issue over spearing harvest numbers and improved access between Lac du Flambeau spearers and tribal representatives sparked little interest among the tribal membership last week as evidenced by the number of voters who turned out Thursday to consider the question.

Lawmakers pick up DNR's push for warrantless searches
LRB: DNR could enter any premise where vehicles or boats are stored
Richard Moore
Investigative Reporter

Last year the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources began promulgating a rule that would allow the agency's wardens to enter private homes and properties to conduct searches for invasive species, and now two lawmakers are touting a bill that would give the agency even more power to enter private property, according to an analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau." Lawmakers pick up DNR's push for warrantless searches
But state Sen. Bob Jauch (D-Poplar) and state Rep. Nick Milroy (D-Superior) have picked up the torch by asking all legislators to co-sponsor their own invasive-species control bill, which, according to the Superior-Douglas County Area Chamber of Commerce, will "compliment (sic) and enhance" the proposed DNR rule.

And look at this!
According to the analysis, the bill would not only expand the law enforcement authority of DNR wardens but empower non-law enforcement DNR personnel to enter a person's private property as well.

And what could this lead to?
In other words, any DNR representative could enter any property where a vehicle or boat is kept at any time to conduct a compliance investigation.

Steve Kagen Will Come After You Next

From the Appleton Post Crescent.
"Kagen joins House effort to tax AIG bonuses

By Larry Bivins • Post-Crescent Washington bureau • March 17, 2009

WASHINGTON — American International Group executives who received bonuses would have to return the money in the form of taxes under a House proposal endorsed Tuesday by Rep. Steve Kagen." Kagen joins House effort to tax AIG bonuses | Postcrescent.com | Appleton Post-Crescent
Kagen joined lead sponsors and supporters of two bills targeting AIG. One, drafted by Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y., would tax at 100 percent bonuses over $100,000. Kagen has co-sponsored that bill.

Hello people, a 100% means all, everything, zip, zero, nodda, you will have nothing left!

Attention electricians, plumbers, nurses, farmers, butchers, bakers, paper makers, and even teachers, county and state workers! If you work, if you earn money and if you have God given freedom, look out!

If Kagen and the liberal left can take away the money from AIG, what will stop him from taking away everything you own or possess! Think about it!

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking away your guns?

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking your money from your bank savings account?

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking away your car, boat, truck, ATV, snowmobile or SUV?

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking away the home you own?

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking your children away from you?

What will stop Steve Kagen someday from taking away your own life!

What will stop Steve Kagen from taking away anything that pleases him and his friends? Name it and he will take it away! Why can he do this? Because he will tell you he was elected and you gave him the power. Did he put his hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the constitution of the United States? Of course he did but his taste for ultimate power is staggering!

Just because Steve Kagen was elected, it does not give him his appetite for power! He cannot abuse the rule of law he was elected to uphold.

If rule of law has no basis in this country you have corruption and with corruption of power will come anarchy.

Steve Kagen is wrong on changing laws to suit his purpose!

Steve Kagen will someday come after you. I hope you are prepared. I hope you see it long before it is too late.

God help us all!

APOSTLE ISLANDS, Wis. (AP) — A collection of 19th-century lighthouses in northern Wisconsin will get an upgrade, thanks to an allocation in the 2009 federal budget.

The budget provides $5 million to restore lighthouses on the Apostle Islands, which dot the coast in Lake Superior. The money will pay for structural upgrades, and make at least one lighthouse a tourist destination by restoring it in the style of a bygone era.

There are eight lighthouses in the area. That gives the region one of the densest collections in the country.

All were built in the 19th century, with the oldest finished in 1856.

Jim Nepstad is the chief of planning for the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. He says he's grateful for the money, though officials have identified $12 million in needs." Postcrescent - Lighthouses in northern Wis. to get $5M upgrade
