School Closings Wednesday

From the Green Bay Press.

Schools should close Wednesday not from snow, not from cold but from soot.

"Air quality watch for Wisconsin on Wednesday

Press-Gazette • January 27, 2009 " Air quality watch for Wisconsin on Wednesday | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

All of Wisconsin will be under an air quality watch on Wednesday, the state Department of Natural Resources announced today.

The watch goes into effect at midnight and expires at midnight Thursday.

The DNR expects elevated levels of fine particle pollution. That is microscopic dust, soot, liquid droplets and smoke particles that are 2.5 microns or smaller. It comes primarily from power plants, factories and other industrial sources, vehicle exhaust, and outdoor fires.

See, those evil power plants and factories. Doyle and Obama will shut them down.
Wisconsin's Air Quality Index is expected to reach the orange level, which is considered unhealthy for people with heart or lung disease or asthma, and for older adults and children. They are advised to reschedule or cut back on strenuous activities.

Close the schools, for the sake of the children.

I hate to be redundant, but Doyle ,Obama and the EPA will close the coal power plant and the paper mills in the valley. High electric bills then the power plant will be shut down, shut down Georgia-Pacific and P & G, and lost jobs.

Too bad people won't see it coming.
