NASCARS New Bad Boy / Race Card

Jaun Montoya is NASCAR's new bad boy, You know he is the
bad boy when during interviews you hear boos from the crowd.

So when do you think you will see sports writers start the mantra
of NASCAR nation is prejudices against Montoya.

Now I am not a fan of Montoya and really don't like him!

I do not like him for his race (skin color),
I do not like him for the country he is from,

I do not like him for only one reason.

For any driver to bump someone out of the way during a race
(race in Mexico last Sunday)
and then he even bumps his team mate out of the way just
to win a race is just a crime, no not a crime but it's pretty bad!

Again I am not prejudice but I do not like spoiled ,
big cry baby drivers like Montoya . I do not want to see him
in a accident but it would be nice if he blows an engine in
the next couple weeks to come down from his high horse.

When will the liberal press play the race card.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?????????
You know it will happen , just when and who will be the
first to use the race card?
My guess is when a second tear white driver bumps him
out of the way in some race, mark my words , it will happen.

No, I am not trying to start anything but you know the
liberal press even in sports uses the race card.
Jaun is now the darling of NASCAR.

Doyle's higher taxes and fees: $1.74 billion
By STEVEN WALTERSswalters@journalsentinel.com
Posted: March 9, 2007
Madison - Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's proposed two-year
budget includes $1.74 billion in higher taxes and fees, according
to a report by the Legislative Fiscal Bureau released Friday.

To put that number in perspective, it amounts to about
$630 for each of the 2.76 million Wisconsin income tax filers for 2005.
The budget Doyle presented two years ago, before he
won a second term in November, included $304 million
in tax and fee increases, according to the non-partisan Fiscal Bureau.
Wait a minute, where was this budget information before the election?
I thought we were told the budget was balanced !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark Green was a liar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this one .
"The more we learn about the Democrat budget proposal,
the worse the news gets for Wisconsin taxpayers,"
said Republican Sen. Scott Fitzgerald of Juneau.

And here's a good one , Who is going to pay for this one?
Also, Schmiedicke said, the governor's proposed new tax on
hospitals and higher taxes on nursing homes would bring in
$625 million more in federal aid.

You people that voted for Doyle , are you happy now???????

Where are you libs and Candy _ ss's

Come On, Bring It On! I love higher taxes!

Doyle: State will continue lawsuit against
cranberry farm
By RYAN J. FOLEY Associated Press Writer

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The state will continue a lawsuit
against a northern Wisconsin cranberry grower over the
objections of the state Department of Justice, Gov. Jim Doyle
said Friday.
Doyle, a Democrat, rejected the department's request to
end the politically charged pollution case and said the state
would instead hire outside counsel to continue its appeal.

Where is Gov. Lawton?

7:00 P M Tonight

From The Green Bay Press Gazette

Division 3: Gillett (20-4) vs. Manitowoc Roncalli (24-0)
When: 7 p.m.

Where: Seymour.

The skinny: Second-seeded Gillett beat top-seeded
Iola-Scandinavia 67-63 in a sectional semifinal on Thursday.

To beat top-seeded Roncalli, the Tigers likely will need big
games from post players Jordan Soper and Tyler Tietyen,
who combined for 42 points and 20 rebounds against
Iola-Scandinavia.

"It really doesn't get any better than this right now,"
Gillett coach Jan Tietyen said.

The Jets are coming off a 51-24 win over Brillion in a sectional
semifinal. While its offense can be dynamic — it shot 22-for-33
against Brillion — its defense is strong, too. They are allowing 39
points per game.

"Everyone talks about them as an offensive team, but I think
their strength is their defense," Brillion coach Pete Kittel said.

Greg Schrimpf paces the Jets with 18.9 points per game.

WIAA Division 3 boys basketball:
Gillett holds off I-S's fourth-quarter rally
By L. Melvin Abitz Special to the Press-Gazette

ANTIGO — Late free-throw shooting helped Gillett
survive a fourth-quarter rally by Iola-Scandinavia
and hand the top-seeded Thunderbirds a 67-63 defeat
Thursday in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal boys
basketball game.

In a contest between the Tigers' dominant inside game
and Iola-Scandinavia's potent perimeter shooting, Gillett
relentlessly worked the ball into the hands of 6-foot-3
forward Jordan Soper and 6-7 center Tyler Teityen.
They combined to score 42 points and snag 20 rebounds.

Soper connected on 14 of 24 from the floor to finish with a game-
high 34 points, while Teityen scored eight points and collected 13
boards.

The Tigers built a 19-point advantage after three periods, but I-S

applied a full-court press in the fourth quarter, forced four quick
turnovers and stormed back.

"We lost our composure a little there, and we started forcing things
that we shouldn't have, Gillett coach Jan Teityen said. "We took a
couple of poor shots that we shouldn't have. We need to slow it
down and get back to our game plan."

Junior guards Mike Griffin and Chad Gunderson each buried three
3-pointers while scoring 15 points in the final period as the T-Birds
closed the gap to one possession with less than 3 minutes to play.

Griffin made five triples and finished with a team-high 23 points.

But Gillett guard Dustin Krause buried three late foul shots, Brandon
Estep added two and Nick Krause added a pair of his own to put
Gillett ahead 66-61 with 25 seconds left.

Griffin's field goal with 10 seconds left made it 66-63, but Dustin Krause
made one of two free throws to put the Tigers ahead by four.

"It really doesn't get any better than this right no," coach Teityen added.
"They came out and hit a couple 3s at the end, and they made a heck of a
game out of it. But we cam out on top, and that's all that matters."

Gillett 14 17 19 17 — 67

Makes a guy proud to be from Gillett!!!!!!!!!!

Upper Michigan

Got back yesterday from my Upper Michigan run.
1003 miles, 35 stores, 3 nights and 4 days made a long week.
What a great group of people in Upper Michigan.

You think we have it bad , the Dem Governor of Michigan
wants to raise the state tax 2% , wow! She also wants to
eliminate town boards. Sounds like she wants to only have
county boards to be the only local government. I might not
have all of the story but it sounds drastic on the part of the
Governor. Also you can just tell unemployment is bad and
company's are moving there cooperate offices out of state.

Talked to a waitress and she told me she has 10 acres of land
and her property taxes are $400.00. I 'm retiring to the U P .

Ice shanty proves no place to hide

Even though February was a great month for ice fishing,
Burlington police had other thoughts when they spotted a
small truck parked on the ice off Lagoon Drive Feb. 17.
The vehicle had been reported stolen from the 400 block
of Milwaukee Ave.

I've seen guys like this , just too funny!

Police followed a trail of footprints from the driver's door for about
a block to an ice shanty. Inside, they found the suspected car thief
drunk and fading in and out of consciousness, with the keys to stolen
truck in his pocket.
