Income Tax Distortion

This is another great artical about the distortion about
income taxes. Since the dems will be in controll on 07
they want to get rid alot of the tax breaks that went
into effect in 2001 and 2003.

From Milwauke Journal online and Patrick McIlheran,
LINK

Do you libs and cadys understand these comments?

"Debate over taxes illustrates this. Resurgent,
Democrats say they'll let President Bush's tax cuts expire."
Not all of them, though: They'll keep some breaks, they say,
that help the meritoriously unrich. It may surprise you that
there were any, since the left's unrelenting line has been that
the cuts shafted the middle class.
They didn't. The non-partisan Tax Foundation reports that
in 2000, people earning more than $200,000 a year, roughly
the top 2%, paid 47% of all federal income taxes, including
those on dividends and capital gains.
In 2004, after the Bush cuts, those making over $200,000
paid 50% of federal income taxes.
Every income group making more than $75,000 a year
saw its share of the burden increase from 2000 to 2004.
Every group under that saw its share decrease. In 2004,
about 45% of all taxpayers making less than $50,000 paid
no income tax at all, up from 32% in 2000.
Nor is this a momentary quirk. In 1980, the top 5% of earners
paid 37% of federal income taxes. In 2004, those in the top 5%
paid 57% of the nation's income taxes. By contrast, the bottom
50% of earners paid 7% of federal income taxes in 1980; they
paid 3% in 2004. These trends have run almost uninterrupted
since then.

I like this line ,
To which the left's answer has been, "So what?"

"So What", The rich are paying more taxes , the middle
income is paying almost no taxes and you lefties want to
raise taxes?

We just love you lefties, thanks for raising our taxes!

To A Great American

To a Great Lady and a Great American.

"Jeanne , enjoy heaven"

From the New York Sun

December 08, 2006

Jeane Kirkpatrick, RIP; 'But Then, They Always Blame
America First'

Update IV: 10:51 a.m.: John Bolton was just on CNN. Clearly
choking back tears, he said that "it really is very sad for america"
and that Kirkpatrick "will be greatly missed." He said:
"She never forgot who she was representing ... she was one of
the most outstanding advocates of American foreign policy in
American history ... She spoke clearly for liberty in the world.
"Bolton also said that Kirkpatrick made it clear at the United
Nations that America's cause was advanced when "liberty was
advanced." We're told that Jeane Kirkpatrick died yesterday
afternoon.Update: Kirkpatrick served as a foreign policy adviser
to Ronald Reagan and then as the American ambassador to the
United Nations (1981-1985). She was a great cold war warrior,
and the "Kirkpatrick Doctrine" advocated support for anti-communist
governments across the world. It was her article in Commentary
Magazine, entitled "Dictatorships and Double Standards" that brought
her to the attention of Reagan.
The day after the September 11, 2001, attacks, she urged Congress
to declare war against the "entire fundamentalist Islamic terrorist
network.

"Update II: One of Kirkpatrick's most famous speeches was when
she blasted "San Francisco Democrats" at the August 20, 1984,
Republican Convention. It is as true today, as it was then:

This is the first Republican Convention I have ever attended. I am
grateful that you should invite me, a lifelong Democrat. On the
other hand, I realize that you are inviting many lifelong Democrats
to join this common cause ...
A recent article in The New York Times noted that "the foreign
policy line that emerged from the Democratic National Convention
in San Francisco is a distinct shift from the policies of such
[Democratic] presidents as Harry S Truman, John F. Kennedy
and Lyndon B. Johnson." I agree ...
When the San Francisco Democrats treat foreign affairs as an
afterthought, as they did, they behaved less like a dove or a hawk
than like an ostrich - convinced it would shut out the world by
hiding its head in the sand.
Today, foreign policy is central to the security, to the freedom,
to the prosperity, even to the survival of the United States. And
our strength, for which we make many sacrifices, is essential to
the independence and freedom of our allies and our friends ...
The United States cannot remain an open, democratic society if
we are left alone -- a garrison state in a hostile world. We need
independent nations with whom to trade, to consult and cooperate.
We need friends and allies with whom to share the pleasures and
the protection of our civilization.

Gillett Basketball

Great write up for the Gillett boys basketball program
in the Green Bay Press Gazette Link

Peshtigo returns 6-10 senior Drew Votis, a first-team
all-conference pick last season and one of the best post
players in the league.

If Votis isn't the best big man in the conference,
Gillett junior Tyler Tietyen would get the nod. The 6-7
standout averaged 20.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per
game as a sophomore and is complemented in the scoring
department by senior Jordan Soper, who scored 15
points per game last season.

Speaking of basketball I thought I would give my 2 cents
on what happens every year in high school sports.
example,
Our Gillett boys varsity team has a good start to the season.
We have great athletes and great parents of those athletes.
Then you hear every year parents talking about" why is the
coach starting freshman on the team" , or "yea, the only
reason the coach's kid has been on varsity for his first three
years is because his dad is the coach". Also "the freshman on
the team knew he was going to be on varsity before the season
started, thats not fair, they should try out at the begining
of the season like everyone else ".

Also , it's not fair that the coach doesn't let my son play,
WAWAWAWAWAWAWA

Well I 'm sorry but,

first, when you have a boy that is 6' 7" and some talent,
you play him. If you have freshman with talent ,
you play them. If you have kids that love the game but are
not good enough, fine. A true lesson in life. "If you have talent you
play, if you don't have talent you don't play".

Second , he is the coach! Why don't these arm chair
parents volenteer to coach basketball! If the coach is
making decisions with parent manipulation than he
should not be a coach . I don't think this is the case in
Gillett.

Third, I have a sophmore son who is 6 ' 2", he's a great
kid but if he doesn't have the skills yet to be a star
basketball player , so be it! He loves basketball and
he is there for the love of the game , not the statas of
"look at me , I should be on varsity . Gee'z, he only a
sophmore! If he wants to be a great player , I cannot force
him to play good . He has to want it , he has to Work Hard,
Study Hard, Play Hard"

Third , if Gillette has two freshman that are good players ,
and they have the talent to help the team win ,good let
them play! I am sorry but if a boy has talent
and the team wins , so be it, let them play. It goes back to the
question of who's coaching? The coach or the parents.

Fourth , I live in a great area , all the schools in the area
are great, but I have to draw the line( sorry Suring) .
Gillett plays Suring tonight . It's like one of those cross
town rivalrys. Suring has a great team , well coached and
a lot of talent , but they are competition. If Gillett has talented
kids to beat the confrence champs , so be it. If it takes
freshman to help the team win , it's fine with me. If some
of the kids don't play , I'm sorry , they need to work harder
to become a better player and they too can play varsity.

Every year you get the same complaints , my little boy isn't
starting , he's not a little boy any more! My little girl didn't
even get a chance to play! Should you tell her to quit
if she doesn't play?

How will our future leaders ever learn real lessons in life.

How will they cope with the pitfalls of, money problems ,
family problems , job losses, heartbreak , love, yes even hate
etc.,etc..
When they are on their own, will they worry about,
raising a family , work a career, marrage, divorce , money,
bankruptcy, alcohal, drugs , children, abortion, the list goes
on and on.

Parents, teach your children that life may not always be fair
but it is up to them how to cope with the good and the bad,
the fair and unfair, winning and losing .

If their report card is not good enough , tell them what
you expect them it should be. If they don't play ,tell them
they need to practice more. If they have a bad day, talk to
them and say "your going to have a lot of bad days but you
also will have a lot of great days ahead ".

I think not all but most or some parents are those self indulged ,
self absorbed baby boomers, yes I am a boomer also but I do
not think I am one of those people !, oop's, sorry but this subject
is better left to another time.

How many parents will say to their children;

The glass if half full not half empty.

You can get more with honey than you can with
vinager.

Inspect what you expect. (Parents this one is for you)

To the Gillett coach .
I believe in you, you were hired to coach , you were
hired to win . I'm with you 100%, let's win!!!!!!! Tell
any parent that thinks they know better to go back
to the stands and cheer the team on or don't come to
watch the games!

To the athletes , coaches and parents , something from a
man that knew what he was talking about.

Success - The difference between a successful person
and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge,
but rather in a lack of will.

Eight Point Buck

From the Milwaukee Journal

Town of Addison - An eight-point buck that the Slinger
Fire Department's dive rescue team saved Tuesday night
from drowning in Big Cedar Lake was recovering Wednesday
from shock and hypothermia at a farm in Addison.

LINK to Story.

There are many guys that I know that would not call
the fire department , not me but there are some that
would......... wonder or would not think twice that it
should not go through the suffering it is going through.

Glad to see the dear is getting better!!!!!!!!!!!

Question, who paid the fire department for the rescue?

Wisconsin In The News

Diamond Jim' s Great Economy!

To you people that voted for yours, not my governor.

Unemployment report .

From Breitbart.com Read the whole artical. LINK

In the week ending Nov. 25, Wisconsin had the biggest
increase in claims, a jump of 10,655, which was blamed
on higher layoffs in construction and various other industries.

You voted for him , I did not!

Be careful what you wish for , you may not like what you get!!!!!

Remember who Barbara Lawten is ?????????????????????

Dec 7,1941

To which most cady's did not learn their history
in school ( even though they were their, they did not
learn anything). They need to learn and understand
what F D R said in his speech on Dec. 7 , 1941. If Pearl
Harbor happened today and F D R was a republican ,
would the Cady's stand behind him , agree with him?
I know many people where I live, (my mothers two brothers
were in WWII) , that will cry when they talk about our country
back during WWII and without taking a breath and spew hate
about President Bush .
How can they believe WWII was right when over 400,000
Americans gave up their lives for freedom. Pearl Harbor
lost around 2400 brave Americans , September 7th
lost over 3000 citizens of this country. I asked a WWII vet .,
"why did we go to war with Germany in WWII even though
they did not attack us ". His comment was " They sank some
of our ships in the Atlantic". Then he made the comment that "it's
the Jews fault in Israel for all of the problems we have ". First
what does Israel have to do with WWII or Sept. 11, I don't know.
Second, I should of reminded him that the pentagon in
Washington D C was atacked but still, his hatred for
republicans or hatred for President Bush is more than
they can understand.
Know this, I respect the people that gave us our freedom
in WWII but I think they forget we are Americans too !
We have young men and and women voluntering for our armed
forces, why does the older generation not give these brave
Americans respect like we have given to them.

So to the people who forgot what Dec 7th means to Americans ,
to the CADYS who do not believe in our freedoms , they only
believe in their agendas.

To the young of our country, they are our future, they will
be our future leaders ,

Please read and appreciate a part of our history!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Pearl Harbor Speech, December 8, 1941
*** Quote ***
To the Congress of the United States
Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy -
the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately
attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the
solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with the
government and its emperor looking toward the
maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after
Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in Oahu,
the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his
colleagues delivered to the Secretary of State a formal
reply to a recent American message. While this reply
stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing
diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint
of war or armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from
Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately
planned many days or even weeks ago. During the
intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately
sought to deceive the United States by false statements and
expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused
severe damage to American naval and military forces.
Very many American lives have been lost. In addition,
American ships have been reported torpedoed on the
high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.
Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched
an attack against Malaya.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.

Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.

Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.

This morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.
J
apan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive
extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of
yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the
United States have already formed their opinions
and well understand the implications to the very l
ife and safety of our nation.

As commander in chief of the Army and Navy,
I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.
Always will we remember the character of the onslaught
against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this
premeditated invasion, the American people in their
righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe I interpret the will of the Congress and of the
people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves
to the uttermost, but will make very certain that this form
of treachery shall never endanger us again.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our
people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our armed forces - with the unbounding
determination of our people - we will gain the inevitable
triumph - so help us God.
I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked
and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, Dec. 7, a state
of war has existed between the United States and the
Japanese empire.

Wisconsin C A P

This is interesting , from the Washington Times Link

People in Virginia are right on, where's the
Wisconsin PAC . Wisconsin seems to be right for this
with all the RINO's .

Look at Rino Dean Kaufert from Neenah, he didn't get to
head the republicans in Madison and now he's mad ! Says
he might turn into a Dem since most of the people in his
district voted for Kerry in 06. wa,wa,wa,wa,wa,wa, !
I can just hear him say "Since you won't be nice to me
I'm going to change partys".
Hey! The way you vote in Madison , go right ahead".
I even think I worked with him at the first Pick n Save
in Neenah, not sure if I liked him then, can't remember
but he can't be worth anything now .
Dean , don't let the door hit you as you leave !!!!!!

I learned two things since the last election.

one, listen to all the bi_ching from people when there
taxes go up and just smile .

two, if I discuss politics , do it sober, drinking and politics
just make people think your just a radical republican .

God Bless America

I S G REPORT

I see that the I S G report came out yesterday. Wow!!!!!!!1

As Rush calls it " the Iraq Surrender Group" doesn't seem to
be worth the paper it's printed on. Oh for you libs that don't
read the papers or did not listen to therest of the MSM
( ISG means "Iraq Study Group"). I would only hope nobody
seen or heard about it because they, one, don't understand it,
two would suck up all the false info or lies from the MSN anyway.

Well some interesting comments from the New York post, Link

From By JOHN PODHORETZ Link

From George Will Link

Well I have to feel sorry for the Iraqi people , it would seem the
people of the U S want to surrender and pull the troops out. You
know the Kurds remember the U S pullout after the first Gulf War.
5000 kurds gased by Saddam ( Didn't Jim Baker have his hand in
that one too).

Well I wonder what gasoline prices will be if we don't finish the job.
$4.00 gal, do I hear $4.50, Lets just round it off to $ 6.00 gal.
Iran and Syria will split Iraq in two to expand there boarders and
Israel would be wiped off the map. No, I think Israel has the Balls
to do what we cannot. They will fight for there lives, not like the
candyass libs and some Rhino's in Washington.

The ISG report seems to be what it is , worthless, no victory ,
only surrender. It's just hilarious the feeding frenzy the
MSN is having with this. Enough said !
