Pontifical Low Mass Held In Marquette Mi.

From Father Z who I found via Dad 29

From Fr John Boyle's blog

Today, Bishop Sample celebrated a Solemn Low Mass, the first time the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite has been celebrated publicly in the Cathedral since the introduction of the Novus Ordo. He hopes to celebrate the Extraordinary Form Mass approximately once a month on Sundays. I (and hopefully other priests) will be celebrating it on the other Sundays.

Still trying to grasp some of the older ways of the church. Not sure where God is taking me but I will take the ride anyway.

If nothing else, the Old Rite Mass has a sense of majesty and reverence which is VERY significant.

Worth contemplating. Compare the 'bar-b-que' atmosphere in the New Rite to the experience you have when you go out at night and catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, or the Milky Way.

Gehr ste'he?
