Seems Talgo is playing poker and politics in Wisconsin.
A Spanish-owned train company would seriously consider moving its plant from Milwaukee to Illinois in 2012 if Governor-elect Scott Walker follows through on his vow to kill a planned high-speed rail line, a company executive said Wednesday night.
So they will spend more money to move to Illinois. They already have a plant in Milwaukee and will pick up and leave. If this is about jobs in Wisconsin why didn't Doyle sign a train contract with the local train manufacturer that was already in Milwaukee?
This is just a bluff to get Scott Walker to buckle. Talgo already has other contracts to build trains. If the train to Madison would go through they would build two or three cars and would be done. What would they do then, move to Illinois?
Walker needs to hold his ground, stop the train and move forward for Wisconsin. The left is just playing poker, and not very well.
