LOUDON, N.H. - Mark Martin apparently isn't leaving full-time NASCAR racing again anytime soon.

On Friday, Hendrick Motorsports announced that Martin has agreed to another contract extension, keeping him in the organization's No. 5 Chevrolet through the 2011 Sprint Cup Series season.

"Mark has been an unbelievable asset to our organization," said team owner Rick Hendrick. "I can't overstate the contribution he's made or the kind of teammate he's been, and we're excited that he'll race with us for the next two years.

"With his focus and dedication, he will continue to make all of us better."

In his first Cup campaign with Hendrick, Martin has won four races and equaled a career-best six poles. The team announced May 6 the veteran driver had agreed to forgo a part-time schedule and return full time for the 2010 season.

Friday's announcement came in conjunction with the naming of a new primary sponsor for Martin for 20 races beginning next season, GoDaddy.com, one of the leading Internet domain name registrar sites.

"As long as I can have fun, compete at a high level and have the opportunity to win, I'm going to continue to do this," Martin said. "I'm having a blast, and that's always been most important to me and my family." " Martin, Hendrick extend contract through 2011 | www.thatsracin.com

Guess anyone who reads my blog will see Martin for two more years.
