Twenty parents came before the board at Minocqua, Hazelhurst, Lake Tomahawk Elementary School to express their concern regarding the behavioral issues and academic progress of the fourth grade class." Parents address fourth grade class issues with MHLT board

"The lower kids are being left behind as well as the other ones. I don't want to use this term, but I'm going to use it. We are 'dumbing down' our curriculum, and all the kids are losing. I don't think it's fair to any of them," Abby Smith said.

I am trying to grasp what exactly the problem is.They are saying it's the curriculum, it seems it's a discipline problem. If there are (for God sakes) "4th graders disrupting class, what is the problem. Get the yard stick out! Oh sorry, that's a evil right wing extremists view.

What I see is the parents are coddling their children, the teachers are afraid to impose discipline and the students (4TH GRADERS ) are running the asylum.

The school board is afraid to tell parents and teachers, "PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN"!

You wonder why this state and country is in trouble!

Again, these are 4TH GRADERS!

Do something. Wait, where is WEAC?
