The local school board meeting last night came down
to one word, "refinancing". Talk about getting the tax
payers bent out of shape over nothing, the vote had
nothing to do with borrowing $630,000.00 but was
just a formality to refinance $630,000.00.
The school district and all school districts have to cover
the pension plan. Our board took out a loan to cover it in
2003 at an 8% interest rate. Today we voted to get a 6% loan.
Don't ask me why but if the board would of just put a notice
that they were refinancing people would not of been upset.
They had three different notices on one simple action to
be taken.
The board did apologize but said it was good to see so many
people concerned about the school system and their taxes
at the meeting .
I would like to disagree with the board! The Gillett school
district has , what 3000 residents ( only estimated).
The grand total of concerned citizens were 16 eligible
voters and 2 non residents who own property in the
school district.
It always goes back to ,voter apathy, voter ignorance
or just plain stupid! As one of my friends have said "who cares,
our taxes are going to go up anyway"!
I do want to thank the people that were at the meeting ,
some people do care!
Success - The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. Vincent T. Lombardi

Gillett School District Meeting
Tonight at 7:30 p m the Gillett School District is having a meeting to
vote for a 20 year loan ( tax increase to the taxpayers of the district)
in the amount of $630,000.00 for the purpose of refinancing the
districts unfunded pension liability.
Now we are not a big school district and we do have some
great teachers in the school district ,but, how did we get into
this mess? The notice in the paper was dated
Nov 30,2006 in the Jan 3rd paper. Why?
Well just like the issues you may have in your area it will be
interesting to see how many voters of the school district care
about this. I will report to you later what the outcome will be .
How many people will show up , my guess twelve.
I can hear it now, "fine if you don't pass this your children will loose all
band , all sports will be lost, we will take away drivers ed ( Oh, we
pay for that anyway), but they will still try to fool some people into
taking it away). And also you will pay more per student for bus service!
And you will pay more for school fee's! And we will have to turn the
heat down and your children will freeze to death! And for sure we will
have to lay off 10 to 20 teachers. Your children will not get a good education!
Wow , I have never been to a school board meeting and it should be
quite interesting .
I would like to say I may be reading too much into this before I even
hear what the board has to say. I do know some of the board members and
have a lot of respect for them! I guess it is just the cynical liberal slant
that I am guessing might happen ! My property taxes went up over $400.00
and a 10% hike does not sit well with me. I will give you the scoop late tonight.
Till later tonight I just want to say,
" Won't you help us Gov. Lawton"?

The Iraq War / Presidents Speech
I did not watch the speech by President Bush but have read
excerpts and opinion pieces on it . I think if we are going to do
this, we need to let the military do their job. The military is to fight
and destroy the enemy.
The enemy is the terrorists! We do not need to be passive or be
politically correct when fighting.
Did we not crush the Germans and Japanese in WWII!
Are they not our allies today? Do we still have troops since 1945
in Germany and Japan today? You idiots (libs and candy's) need
to take a stand ! If we pull out of Iraq we will just have to go back
in a couple years and have to clean up a bigger mess!
Will you Democrats make up your mind! First you wanted more
troops to get the job done! Now you say ,"no don't send more troops"!
What do you want? If bush says high you say low , If bush says low ,
you say high! No matter what Mr Bush does it will never be good
enough for you!
Will you not agree that you are still sore about the 2000 election
and your just a bunch of sore losers. A bunch of CRY BABIES!
Get over it ! At least this President said he made a mistake and
wants to do something about it! He is trying to protect your sorry
rear end!
God Bless and protect our troops and God bless America !

The Kagen Watch
You people that voted for Steve Kagen , please take one step forward
and walk off the bridge of your choice. You IDIOTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From Charlie Sykes and the Inside Scoop from Monday
According to The Scene, Kagen confronted Deputy Chief of Staff Karl
Rove in one of The White House’s restrooms. Holding the bathroom
door closed, Kagen told Rove, “You’re in The White House and you
think (sic) your safe, huh? You recognize me? My name’s Dr.
Multimillionaire and I kicked your ass.” At another point The Scene
reports Kagen told Vice President Cheney, “Mr. Vice President, thank
you for your service to the nation and thank you so much for coming to
Green Bay and campaigning against me. I couldn’t have won without
your help.”
I suppose you libs and candy's believe this B S .
What were you thinking when you voted for him?
When meeting President Bush The Scene reports that Kagen told Bush,
“Mr. President thank you for coming to Green Bay. My name is Dr.
Multimillionaire. That was before the race. Now they call me Doctor
(sic) Thousandaire. I couldn’t have won without you coming.”
The Scene also reports that Kagen purposely referred to Laura Bush
as Barbara when he met her. According to The Scene Kagen stated
when meeting the First Lady, “Hi Barbara, how are ya?” The Scene
relayed that Kagen did this because Kagen learned “that the meanest
thing you can say to another gentleman is he is a fine fellow and you
then refer to his spouse by a different name.”
Do you still believe this Nut!
Wait , this gets better, Today Charlie reports ; "Dr Liar"
through the Green Bay Press Gazette Read the whole story
Now that Kagen’s longer story about his White House visit is getting
publicity on talk radio and among political bloggers, he won’t comment
on whether he referred to Laura Bush as Barbara.“I’m going to leave
that one alone,” Kagen said Wednesday. Asked why, he said,
“I’ll make no comment.”

This should be a regular feature for at least two years!!!!!
I will say I am now embarrassed for having this guy represent me.

So "You Don't Like Idiots"
I would like to say something I rarely talk about.
Voter apathy, voter ignorance or just plain stupid!
I want to first start with my belief that most people and some
voters are either stupid or mindless .
When you ask people if they like high taxes they say it doesn't
matter ," you're going to pay it anyway! You talk to people about
political ads , they believe lies and don't believe the truth
( Stem Cell Research). They believe Bob and Tom in the Morning
or CNN but will not believe the Washington Times. Gas prices are up
"it's Bush's fault", gas prices down , Bush is trying to buy the
election. Today we have global warming and have 20 ft. of beach
on our lake. Back in the 1930's there was 120 ft.' of beach on our
lake but that wasn't global warming!
Politics has given me a bad taste from all the apathy and stupidity.
Why should I care about local government?
Why should I care about taxes?
Why should I care about people who don't care about
a $630,000.00 loan in our school district for a unfunded
pension liability?
Why , because what most people who know me do not
know is , I care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight at a county planning commision meeting
I asked one of our county supervisors about there
towns planning. What they are doing , how they are
doing it. Remember to most people I am an idiot who may
partake in adult beverages in excess from time to time.
I mean well , am good hearted but where does that get me.
I may wear my beliefs on my sleeve but at least I believe
in something. He then asked me if our local supervisor
was running for reelection. I said I did not know.
Sorry for being long winded but let me get to the point.
He looked me in the eye and said "you should run for county
supervisor". A wise honest man sitting two chairs from me
at the meeting said that to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told him no I couldn't , my excuse was I have too many skeleton
in my closet! He said he was retire ring and the county was
looking for younger people to help run county government .
He said he could tell I would be a good elected official.
I couldn't really tell him the reason I would not run. I am just sick
and tired of stupid, idiotic, uninformed people in this world.
Remember voter apathy, voter ignorance and just plain stupid!
Well, he looked at me and said "I can tell
"you don't like idiots"!!!!!!!! And I said "you sure got that right"!
It makes one appreciate good people that you come across in
life. One day can bring a change, someone you meet can make a
difference . You cannot change the world, but if you believe in right
and wrong, good and bad, some day your ship will come in.
Do what's right, don't do what others want you to do!
Character is doing something good or doing whats right
when no one else is watching .
Do you have good character????????????????????????
To one of Oconto County's supervisor tonight , I say Thank You.
I need to thank a lot of people for what I wear on my sleeve.
Boots and Sabers, Badger Blogger , GOP3.com,
Charlie Sykes, Marquette Warrior, Patrick McIheran,
Rush , some of my great friends and mentors and all the other
people that have always shared my beliefs.
It's good to know there are a lot of sane intelligent people
in this world and I am not insane after all!
Remember do what right!!!!!!!!!!!
Do what you believe in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes , I DO NOT LIKE IDIOTS.

Planning for the Future
Tonight, I attended the our central cluster group meeting
for the Oconto County Comprehensive Planning Commision.
First I want to say more people should get involved with
local goverment. It doesn't matter what part you might
look at , if you care about your community you need to
get involved.
We discussed information handed out to us from Bay-Lake
Regional Planning Commision out of Green Bay.
First discussed was "Economic Developement" and then
" Transportation " for Oconto County. Some of the highlights
was some of the citys and townships discussed a few reasons
why they were there and what they have accomplished so
far for there areas.
You 'd be surprised how local goverment works. One group
talked about having a driveway ordinance, and a windmill
ordinance.
"Say what", "windmills"?
Sure, what would you say if your neighbor decided to
put a 90 ft windmill next to your property . These people
are planning ahead and I give them a lot of credit.
Then in the transportation portion the question came out if
the county has laws against "rounabouts". The state D O T wants
to put two near and in the city of Gillett! I glad to hear the
people from Gillett are against such a goofy idea. Roundabouts
on a state highway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it was very interesting. For those that complain , stat home!
For those that care for your home and your community-
GET INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U S Flags for President Ford.
Is it me or did I miss something ?
Ignorant americans or just plain liberal?
When a U.S. President passes away, shouldn't the
U.S. flag be at half-mast for thirty days?
During my travels on the road I see some schools, some banks and
some businesses that have not lowered their flags. A good
majority of flags are at the proper level. But it kind of makes you wonder
if some people are doing their own little protests against republicans.
Will this happen when Mr Carter or Mr Clinton pass away? I think not.
One city has the elementary school flag lowered and 200 yards away
the high school flag is not. That same school had this same problem when
President Reagan passed away.
I am beginning to think the school superintendent is a liberal!
That can't be , all school systems teach values to our children?
Is that why our school board wants to take a $630,000.00 loan
out to pay for the underfunded pension plan for Gillett?
I may not agree with or like Mr Carter or Mr Clinton, but they
were our Presidents and every american should show them the
respect they deserve for being our president .
Don't be a whimp and let people know that by law the flags
should be at half-mast.

House rules change clears way for tax increases
Wow, I cannot believe this , we must be in some time warp!
They said this would never happen! Oh I'm sorry I am ignorent!!!!
One of the first key procedural votes in the Democrat-controlled
House last week established legislative rules that Republicans say
will make it easier to raise taxes by a simple majority vote.
The straight party-line vote received little attention Thursday
as Rep. Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, was elected speaker of
the House. But Republican leaders and conservative tax-cut
advocates said it opened up a huge loophole in a Republican-imposed
rule drawn from the Republicans' 1994 Contract with America,
which requires a supermajority, or three-fifths vote, to raise taxes.
Democrats unanimously voted down a motion offered by Minority
Leader John A. Boehner of Ohio that would have prevented them
from waiving the rule, a move that tax-cutters said signaled the
Democrats' intention to raise taxes between now and the 2008 elections.
"American taxpayers need to hold on to their wallets because the new
House rules concerning taxes are not worth the paper they're written
on," said Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR).

Local Breaking News
Information told to me by a great neighbor and verified
in the Oconto Times Herald dated 1/3/07.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL SCHOLL DISTRICT MEETING
Notice is here by given to the qualified voters of the school district
of Gillett in the county(ties) of Oconto , that a special meeting of the
school district will be held at Secondary School Library in the district
on the 11th day of January, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of
voting on the following proposition.
To authorize the school board to borrow the sum of
Six Hundred Thirty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars
($630,000.00) for the purposeof fianancing the districts
underfunded pension liability, and levy upon all the taxable
property of the school district a direct irrepealable annual tax for
the purpose of paying and sufficient to pay the interest on this loan
as it falls due , and also pay and discharge the principal thereof within
20 years from making the loan.
Miles Winkler
School District Clerk
November 30, 2006
I'm sorry why in God's green earth did we not know about this sooner,
the date on the notice is Nov 30,2006. Did I miss something in the paper?
Second, how did we all of a sudden get to have a pension problem like this ?
But alas I give my neighbor credit for trying to get the word out . I
was told by my good friends that " Who cares about taxes, I just pay them".
What do care about taxes anyway? "You can't do anything about them".
I think the problem with most not all people is that they are not informed !
They do not go to school board meeting, they do not go to town board
meetings , they listen to Bob and Tom and CBS,ABC,NBC and CNN and believe
everything they hear!
For I am a CONSERVATIVE and I believe in Lower Taxes and less Goverment!
For that, I am a drunkin dumb ass here on the lake and do not know what
I am talking about. I think some other reasons (which always kills them)
is I listen to Rush and am not afraid to say that or that I am conservative .
So to all my friends and neighbors and all the other people on the lake ,
here comes another tax increase!
Oh by the way , are you ready for the D N R to be swarming on Berry Lake
in the near future. You say you don't know what I'm talking about? You
should of been at the last town meeting , I was, but what I say doesn't mean a

You
should of been at the last town meeting , I was, but what I say doesn't mean a
hill of beans , I a republican and I always lie and I'm an idiot !
You can read about it in this Wednesday's Oconto Times Herald!
Will anyone do anything about it, I think not!

Madison - The state's financial books show that Wisconsin ended
the last fiscal year with a $2.15 billion deficit, under accounting
principles that are standard for private companies, according to
a report that the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance released Friday.
The $2.15 billion deficit - nearly $400 for each of Wisconsin's 5.5
million residents - is about what the state spends to run correctional
institutions or the University of Wisconsin System over a
two-year budget.
As put by some bloggers ,
Did Jim Doyle know about this?
Was Jim Doyle not told about the deficit and should someone
get fired for it?
Did Jim Doyle know about it and just lied to the people of Wisconsin?
Can we say Barbara Lawton ???????????????????????????????

Gift Cards
Wendy from Boots and Sabers has the thought for the day
about gift cards Link
The reason I like his heads up is my two boys have been
holding gift cards and I wonder if they will get their full value.
For those of you (libs and candys ) he has some advice on
how to read your gift card.
Turn the gift card over and read the tiny print on the back.
It may tell you that you have x years to use the card, and
that after that the company may decrease the value of the
card by a certain amount each month or whatever.
Please note the date and the expiration date. Figure out a
way to use the card in the next one, two, three or whatever
years. Businesses don’t do this to make your life difficult.
They do this to prevent indefinite liabilities in their books.
It is a matter of simple bookkeeping (did you know
bookkeeping is the only word in the English language with
3 sets of double letters in a row?).
In short: Read your gift card. Use your gift card.
Don’t waste your gift card.

Merry Christmas
It is a time to reflect this holiday season.
From hip replacement , to family legal problems ,
to complications from hip surgery , to selling our
bussiness , to bankruptcy and now starting a new
job in sales in 2007 , I can honestly be thankful
for all that I have . I have the greatest gift that God
has given me and that is my family. I often ask the Lord
why he has blessed me with such a great wife, great children
and a super little grandson. I am truely blessed with such
a wonderful giftthat I could and will never ask Him for anything
else .
It is a time to give thanks and reflect that our Lord
and Savior was born over 2000 years ago. It is he who
saved us for our sins. It was a babe in a manger that
gives us joy and love this Christmas season.
His love is in everyone's heart. It is said,
"to receive you must first give" .
He gives His love to all .
To all my family and freinds , to all our troops serving at home
and overseas, to our president and to this great country
of ours.
I want to say to you and your love ones,
Merry Christmas
May God Bless you
and may God bless America

Nice Story About Nice People
From Charlie Sykes show and the Milwaukee Journal

Generac workers get a holiday surprise
George Plehn, a factory worker at Generac Power
Systems Inc., was shocked to come home from work
and find a $31,000 Christmas gift in the mail.
It was a check from Robert and Patricia Kern.
Robert Kern, recently retired, was the founder of Generac,
a Waukesha County company that makes residential,
commercial and industrial power generators. This week,
the Kerns mailed checks to employees that easily added
up to hundreds of thousands of dollars. The total amount
remains a mystery because the Kerns aren't talking about it,
but employees said some people got nearly $50,000.
You have to give Mr.and Mrs. Kerns a lot of credit for
doing something good. As with a saying I say to my family
"You must give before you can receive"
Now I would like to give you a quiz . Get a paper and pencil and
write down the amount of taxes these people should be taxed
on the money they received. Take the person who received
$50,000.00 .
What would be fair ?
10% should be taxed ? - $5000.00 should be paid !
20 % should be taxed? - $ 10,000.00 should be paid.!
25% should be paid? - $12,500.00 should be paid!
Remember , I asking what you think would be a fair tax,
not what reality is!
What is your answer_____________%
I will bet most of you Libs will not even be close!
Do you want to know what they will pay?
Scroll down for the answer!

Thanks Charlie for the numbers
Ahhhhhhhhhh first lets start with;
Federal Tax - single or married couples
average 25 to 28 % depending how much they make.
Fed Tax, O K lets use 25% = $12,500.00
Now Wis State tax 6.5% = $3250.00
Now S. Security tax 6.2% = $3100.00
Wait , Medicare tax is 2.9% = $1450.00
Thats 40.6% and you got it .
That equals, WOW = $20,300.00
Wait you Libs and Candy's, what if they buy something ,
a car,
a hot tub,
new furniture ,
Ok they spend $20,000.00 and pay , lets say
5% sales tax , that + $1000.00
when you hear we need to tax the rich!
Who is rich? Taxes are just to high !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carter has always had strange opinions on the middle

Mr. Carter may be a good man, yes I respect him for

failure when it came to foreign and domestic policy.

Income Tax Distortion
This is another great artical about the distortion about
income taxes. Since the dems will be in controll on 07
they want to get rid alot of the tax breaks that went
into effect in 2001 and 2003.
From Milwauke Journal online and Patrick McIlheran,
LINK
Do you libs and cadys understand these comments?
"Debate over taxes illustrates this. Resurgent,
Democrats say they'll let President Bush's tax cuts expire."
Not all of them, though: They'll keep some breaks, they say,
that help the meritoriously unrich. It may surprise you that
there were any, since the left's unrelenting line has been that
the cuts shafted the middle class.
They didn't. The non-partisan Tax Foundation reports that
in 2000, people earning more than $200,000 a year, roughly
the top 2%, paid 47% of all federal income taxes, including
those on dividends and capital gains.
In 2004, after the Bush cuts, those making over $200,000
paid 50% of federal income taxes.
Every income group making more than $75,000 a year
saw its share of the burden increase from 2000 to 2004.
Every group under that saw its share decrease. In 2004,
about 45% of all taxpayers making less than $50,000 paid
no income tax at all, up from 32% in 2000.
Nor is this a momentary quirk. In 1980, the top 5% of earners
paid 37% of federal income taxes. In 2004, those in the top 5%
paid 57% of the nation's income taxes. By contrast, the bottom
50% of earners paid 7% of federal income taxes in 1980; they
paid 3% in 2004. These trends have run almost uninterrupted
since then.
I like this line ,
To which the left's answer has been, "So what?"
"So What", The rich are paying more taxes , the middle
income is paying almost no taxes and you lefties want to
raise taxes?
We just love you lefties, thanks for raising our taxes!

there were any, since the left's unrelenting line has been that
the cuts shafted the middle class.

To A Great American
To a Great Lady and a Great American.
"Jeanne , enjoy heaven"
From the New York Sun
December 08, 2006
Jeane Kirkpatrick, RIP; 'But Then, They Always Blame
America First'
Update IV: 10:51 a.m.: John Bolton was just on CNN. Clearly
choking back tears, he said that "it really is very sad for america"
and that Kirkpatrick "will be greatly missed." He said:
"She never forgot who she was representing ... she was one of
the most outstanding advocates of American foreign policy in
American history ... She spoke clearly for liberty in the world.
"Bolton also said that Kirkpatrick made it clear at the United
Nations that America's cause was advanced when "liberty was
advanced." We're told that Jeane Kirkpatrick died yesterday
afternoon.Update: Kirkpatrick served as a foreign policy adviser
to Ronald Reagan and then as the American ambassador to the
United Nations (1981-1985). She was a great cold war warrior,
and the "Kirkpatrick Doctrine" advocated support for anti-communist
governments across the world. It was her article in Commentary
Magazine, entitled "Dictatorships and Double Standards" that brought
her to the attention of Reagan.
The day after the September 11, 2001, attacks, she urged Congress
to declare war against the "entire fundamentalist Islamic terrorist
network.
"Update II: One of Kirkpatrick's most famous speeches was when
she blasted "San Francisco Democrats" at the August 20, 1984,
Republican Convention. It is as true today, as it was then:
This is the first Republican Convention I have ever attended. I am
grateful that you should invite me, a lifelong Democrat. On the
other hand, I realize that you are inviting many lifelong Democrats
to join this common cause ...
A recent article in The New York Times noted that "the foreign
policy line that emerged from the Democratic National Convention
in San Francisco is a distinct shift from the policies of such
[Democratic] presidents as Harry S Truman, John F. Kennedy
and Lyndon B. Johnson." I agree ...
When the San Francisco Democrats treat foreign affairs as an
afterthought, as they did, they behaved less like a dove or a hawk
than like an ostrich - convinced it would shut out the world by
hiding its head in the sand.
Today, foreign policy is central to the security, to the freedom,
to the prosperity, even to the survival of the United States. And
our strength, for which we make many sacrifices, is essential to
the independence and freedom of our allies and our friends ...
The United States cannot remain an open, democratic society if
we are left alone -- a garrison state in a hostile world. We need
independent nations with whom to trade, to consult and cooperate.
We need friends and allies with whom to share the pleasures and
the protection of our civilization.

Gillett Basketball
Great write up for the Gillett boys basketball program
in the Green Bay Press Gazette Link
Peshtigo returns 6-10 senior Drew Votis, a first-team
all-conference pick last season and one of the best post
players in the league.
If Votis isn't the best big man in the conference,
Gillett junior Tyler Tietyen would get the nod. The 6-7
standout averaged 20.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per
game as a sophomore and is complemented in the scoring
department by senior Jordan Soper, who scored 15
points per game last season.
Speaking of basketball I thought I would give my 2 cents
on what happens every year in high school sports.
example,
Our Gillett boys varsity team has a good start to the season.
We have great athletes and great parents of those athletes.
Then you hear every year parents talking about" why is the
coach starting freshman on the team" , or "yea, the only
reason the coach's kid has been on varsity for his first three
years is because his dad is the coach". Also "the freshman on
the team knew he was going to be on varsity before the season
started, thats not fair, they should try out at the begining
of the season like everyone else ".
Also , it's not fair that the coach doesn't let my son play,
WAWAWAWAWAWAWA
Well I 'm sorry but,
first, when you have a boy that is 6' 7" and some talent,
you play him. If you have freshman with talent ,
you play them. If you have kids that love the game but are
not good enough, fine. A true lesson in life. "If you have talent you
play, if you don't have talent you don't play".
Second , he is the coach! Why don't these arm chair
parents volenteer to coach basketball! If the coach is
making decisions with parent manipulation than he
should not be a coach . I don't think this is the case in
Gillett.
Third, I have a sophmore son who is 6 ' 2", he's a great
kid but if he doesn't have the skills yet to be a star
basketball player , so be it! He loves basketball and
he is there for the love of the game , not the statas of
"look at me , I should be on varsity . Gee'z, he only a
sophmore! If he wants to be a great player , I cannot force
him to play good . He has to want it , he has to Work Hard,
Study Hard, Play Hard"
Third , if Gillette has two freshman that are good players ,
and they have the talent to help the team win ,good let
them play! I am sorry but if a boy has talent
and the team wins , so be it, let them play. It goes back to the
question of who's coaching? The coach or the parents.
Fourth , I live in a great area , all the schools in the area
are great, but I have to draw the line( sorry Suring) .
Gillett plays Suring tonight . It's like one of those cross
town rivalrys. Suring has a great team , well coached and
a lot of talent , but they are competition. If Gillett has talented
kids to beat the confrence champs , so be it. If it takes
freshman to help the team win , it's fine with me. If some
of the kids don't play , I'm sorry , they need to work harder
to become a better player and they too can play varsity.
Every year you get the same complaints , my little boy isn't
starting , he's not a little boy any more! My little girl didn't
even get a chance to play! Should you tell her to quit
if she doesn't play?
How will our future leaders ever learn real lessons in life.
How will they cope with the pitfalls of, money problems ,
family problems , job losses, heartbreak , love, yes even hate
etc.,etc..
When they are on their own, will they worry about,
raising a family , work a career, marrage, divorce , money,
bankruptcy, alcohal, drugs , children, abortion, the list goes
on and on.
Parents, teach your children that life may not always be fair
but it is up to them how to cope with the good and the bad,
the fair and unfair, winning and losing .
If their report card is not good enough , tell them what
you expect them it should be. If they don't play ,tell them
they need to practice more. If they have a bad day, talk to
them and say "your going to have a lot of bad days but you
also will have a lot of great days ahead ".
I think not all but most or some parents are those self indulged ,
self absorbed baby boomers, yes I am a boomer also but I do
not think I am one of those people !, oop's, sorry but this subject
is better left to another time.
How many parents will say to their children;
The glass if half full not half empty.
You can get more with honey than you can with
vinager.
Inspect what you expect. (Parents this one is for you)
To the Gillett coach .
I believe in you, you were hired to coach , you were
hired to win . I'm with you 100%, let's win!!!!!!! Tell
any parent that thinks they know better to go back
to the stands and cheer the team on or don't come to
watch the games!
To the athletes , coaches and parents , something from a
man that knew what he was talking about.
Success - The difference between a successful person
and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge,
but rather in a lack of will.

Eight Point Buck
From the Milwaukee Journal
Town of Addison - An eight-point buck that the Slinger
Fire Department's dive rescue team saved Tuesday night
from drowning in Big Cedar Lake was recovering Wednesday
from shock and hypothermia at a farm in Addison.
LINK to Story.
There are many guys that I know that would not call
the fire department , not me but there are some that
would......... wonder or would not think twice that it
should not go through the suffering it is going through.
Glad to see the dear is getting better!!!!!!!!!!!
Question, who paid the fire department for the rescue?

To which most cady's did not learn their history
in school ( even though they were their, they did not
learn anything). They need to learn and understand
what F D R said in his speech on Dec. 7 , 1941. If Pearl
Harbor happened today and F D R was a republican ,
would the Cady's stand behind him , agree with him?
I know many people where I live, (my mothers two brothers
were in WWII) , that will cry when they talk about our country
back during WWII and without taking a breath and spew hate
about President Bush .
How can they believe WWII was right when over 400,000
Americans gave up their lives for freedom. Pearl Harbor
lost around 2400 brave Americans , September 7th
lost over 3000 citizens of this country. I asked a WWII vet .,
"why did we go to war with Germany in WWII even though
they did not attack us ". His comment was " They sank some
of our ships in the Atlantic". Then he made the comment that "it's
the Jews fault in Israel for all of the problems we have ". First
what does Israel have to do with WWII or Sept. 11, I don't know.
Second, I should of reminded him that the pentagon in
Washington D C was atacked but still, his hatred for
republicans or hatred for President Bush is more than
they can understand.
Know this, I respect the people that gave us our freedom
in WWII but I think they forget we are Americans too !
We have young men and and women voluntering for our armed
forces, why does the older generation not give these brave
Americans respect like we have given to them.

Pearl Harbor Speech, December 8, 1941

To the Congress of the United States
Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy -
the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately
attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the
solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with the
government and its emperor looking toward the
maintenance of peace in the Pacific. Indeed, one hour after
Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in Oahu,
the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his
colleagues delivered to the Secretary of State a formal
reply to a recent American message. While this reply
stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing
diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint
of war or armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from
Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately
planned many days or even weeks ago. During the
intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately
sought to deceive the United States by false statements and
expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused
severe damage to American naval and military forces.
Very many American lives have been lost. In addition,
American ships have been reported torpedoed on the
high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.
Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched
an attack against Malaya.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.
Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.
This morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.
J
apan has, therefore, undertaken a surprise offensive
extending throughout the Pacific area. The facts of
yesterday speak for themselves. The people of the
United States have already formed their opinions
and well understand the implications to the very l
ife and safety of our nation.
As commander in chief of the Army and Navy,
I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense.
Always will we remember the character of the onslaught
against us.
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this
premeditated invasion, the American people in their
righteous might will win through to absolute victory.
I believe I interpret the will of the Congress and of the
people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves
to the uttermost, but will make very certain that this form
of treachery shall never endanger us again.
Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our
people, our territory and our interests are in grave danger.
With confidence in our armed forces - with the unbounding
determination of our people - we will gain the inevitable
triumph - so help us God.
I ask that the Congress declare that since the unprovoked
and dastardly attack by Japan on Sunday, Dec. 7, a state

This is interesting , from the Washington Times Link
People in Virginia are right on, where's the
Wisconsin PAC . Wisconsin seems to be right for this
with all the RINO's .
Look at Rino Dean Kaufert from Neenah, he didn't get to
head the republicans in Madison and now he's mad ! Says
he might turn into a Dem since most of the people in his
district voted for Kerry in 06. wa,wa,wa,wa,wa,wa, !
I can just hear him say "Since you won't be nice to me
I'm going to change partys".
Hey! The way you vote in Madison , go right ahead".
I even think I worked with him at the first Pick n Save
in Neenah, not sure if I liked him then, can't remember
but he can't be worth anything now .
Dean , don't let the door hit you as you leave !!!!!!
I learned two things since the last election.
one, listen to all the bi_ching from people when there
taxes go up and just smile .
two, if I discuss politics , do it sober, drinking and politics
just make people think your just a radical republican .
God Bless America

I S G REPORT
I see that the I S G report came out yesterday. Wow!!!!!!!1
As Rush calls it " the Iraq Surrender Group" doesn't seem to
be worth the paper it's printed on. Oh for you libs that don't
read the papers or did not listen to therest of the MSM
( ISG means "Iraq Study Group"). I would only hope nobody
seen or heard about it because they, one, don't understand it,
two would suck up all the false info or lies from the MSN anyway.
Well some interesting comments from the New York post, Link
From By JOHN PODHORETZ Link
From George Will Link
Well I have to feel sorry for the Iraqi people , it would seem the
people of the U S want to surrender and pull the troops out. You
know the Kurds remember the U S pullout after the first Gulf War.
5000 kurds gased by Saddam ( Didn't Jim Baker have his hand in
that one too).
Well I wonder what gasoline prices will be if we don't finish the job.
$4.00 gal, do I hear $4.50, Lets just round it off to $ 6.00 gal.
Iran and Syria will split Iraq in two to expand there boarders and
Israel would be wiped off the map. No, I think Israel has the Balls
to do what we cannot. They will fight for there lives, not like the
candyass libs and some Rhino's in Washington.
The ISG report seems to be what it is , worthless, no victory ,
only surrender. It's just hilarious the feeding frenzy the
MSN is having with this. Enough said !
