I Thought Obama Speech Was A Deer In The Headlights

Facebook video leads to deer shining charges

Sept. 8, 2009 5:06 p.m. | Waukesha — President Barack Obama told schoolchildren in Virginia on Tuesday to be careful what they post on Facebook.

"Whatever you do, it will be pulled up again later somewhere in your life," he said.

That's advice adults Adam M. Frame and Dustin J. Porter could have used. Frame, 25, of Mukwonago, and Porter, 24, of Sullivan, found themselves in trouble with the law and state Department of Natural Resources after they posted a video on the social network Facebook showing them shining a light and shooting a gun at a deer.

That's illegal.

The case was the DNR's first-ever arrests based on a Facebook video, although it has built cases from information found on other Web sites - such as Craigslist and eBay, Conservation Warden Supervisor Rick Reed says in a news release about the case. »Read Full Article" NewsWatch - JSOnline


I see Obama to children, I see face book, then I see the deer shining story. Thought JSOnline had two article mixed up. Had to do a double look.

I'll stand by my comment, the Obama speech to school children was still a deer in the headlights.
