Posted: Sep 06, 2009 9:19 PM CDT

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Wisconsin DNR has issued an air quality advisory for Brown County because of particle pollution.

The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Monday. It was issued because of elevated levels of fine particles in the air from such sources as factories, vehicle exhaust and wood burning.

The Air Quality Index is expected to be in the orange level, considered unhealthy for people with heart or lung disease, older adults and children. People in those groups are advised to reschedule or cut back on strenuous activities." Wis. DNR issues air advisory for Brown County - WQOW TV: Eau Claire, WI NEWS18 News, Weather, and Sports

OK, so on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, DNR warns about "factory and wood-burning" particulates?

What the Hell are you people in the Valley doing? Re-starting the Peshtigo fire?

Dad,I was surprised as anyone on an air advisory. Is the DNR nuts?

Plus I found the article out of Eau Claire. Didn't hear a thing from this part of northeastern Wis.

Have a GREAT week!
