Bay Area Workforce Development, Gov Walker, Stop The Waste

Fox 11 News out of Green Bay had a different view on Scott Walkers plan to bring 250,000 jobs to Wisconsin. On T V they interviewed father Jim from the Bay Area workforce development board. My old buddy. We go way back. Well, seems Jim thinks he knows what he is doing.
"“You can create all the jobs you want. But they require some skills,” said Jim Golembeski with the Bay Area workforce development board.

Golembeski says a majority of unemployed people in our area lack education and technical skills that many good paying jobs require. And sometimes the only work job hopefuls will qualify for can't support them.

“If you're making eight dollars an hour, so you're taking home 17 thousand a year, that's not a very good life,” said Golembeski.

Golembeski says before the new jobs can come to Wisconsin, those seeking work need to upgrade their skills. But some say that's just not possible."
250,000 jobs coming to Wisconsin?
I'm just a blogger but I will make the following comment. How many years have Golembeski been promising jobs to the people of Wisconsin? At least three to four that I know of. If Golembeski has any hand in tax payers money to get people trained for jobs,

Governor Walker, please replace Jim with someone who can help people and not waste tax payer money on useless funding and useless job training.

What has Jim and his people done for the people of New Page in Niagara? How long do we spend money on useless programs that only fund peoples salaries and expenses. What track record does he and his people have on getting people jobs. If people need help in getting jobs, the Bay Area workforce development is a waste of any state funding! I only hear a giant sucking sound in people taking money from the state and businesses in Wisconsin.

There are better ways to train people for future jobs! Will Gov. Walker look into this waste ? I sure hope so!
