Isn't Steve Kagen running against John Gard?
The dems and Dave Hansen drank way too much Kool Aid or someone call a doctor, he might need some medical care. Maybe it's just a ploy to fool the voters in the 8th district to vote for Dave Hansen. Did I miss a press release? Is Steve Kagen dropping out of the race?
I blame kool aid. Not sure if it was grape, cherry or lime?

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin Democrats at their convention in Stevens Point say they're confident about meeting some big goals in the elections this fall.
They want to deliver the state for presidential candidate Barack Obama, win both houses of the Legislature and keep freshman Representative Steve Kagen in Congress.
State Senator Dave Hansen of Green Bay says he's very confident as he faces a strong challenge from Republican John Gard in his bid for re-election.
Hansen and others say their party will benefit from an electorate unhappy with President Bush and uneasy about the economy and the war in Iraq.
