Democratic sources tell Action 2 News the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is reallocating funding for ads for Congressman Steve Kagen -- shifting that money to other tight national races.
What might that mean?
"So the decision that the money isn't coming to the area isn't a decision that Kagen is going to win or lose, it's a decision of strategic party politics," Action 2 News political analyst Tim Dale says.
Oh sure Tim, it's strategic all right.
Democratic sources tell Action 2 News nearly $266,000 is still reserved for Kagen ads if necessary, though the money has not yet been spent.
Is that all, 266K.
The DCCC says it's still "heavily invested in this race and remains fully committed to Steve Kagen's campaign."
Yea sure, and I have a side walk to sell you in Pound.
Dale says this is common right before an election.
Sure Dale, looks like the good doctor is going to have to reach into his pocket again to fund his campaign. Congressman Steve Kagen's campaign ship is taking on water. Did you know the rats always jump ship first.
Captain Kagen, Captain Kagen, do we abandon ship?
And his answer will be,
Hell no, we're all going down with the ship or
