Weisrock and U.S. Rep. Steve Kagen, D-Appleton, met Monday with news media in Allouez in front of a Green Bay Transit bus outfitted with the Census logo to make a pitch for people to get involved in the effort.

Jobs include census takers, clerks, crew leaders and assistants, and recruiting assistants. The jobs also pay 50 cents a mile for travel. The positions are for 20 to 40 hours a week and can extend from three weeks to three months, Weisrock said.
