Steve Kagen Scaring People? Sounds Like It

Here Tom Petri has a rebuttal for Steve Kagen. Kagen says not to scare people but what exactly is Steve Kagen doing to the people of the 8th district?

With different versions of a health care plan making its way through Congress, its no wonder constituents and congressmen at town hall meetings are interpreting what's at stake differently.
Now there are different versions of the health care bill?
One big concern is a government program might ration health care and some individuals might not get what they need or want. Democratic 8th District Congressman Steve Kagen says not true.
Congressman Kagen uses the words "might ration" and "might not get what they need? If it's not true why not say the bill will not ration and you will get the help you need! He didn't say it because he is trying to distort the facts!
“That is not the intent of this piece of legislation these new ideas about health care reform are to fix what's broken and keep what works. And improve it at a lower cost,” said Kagen.
Now Kagen say's "not the intent" but if this passes and we do have rationing, what will Kagen say? The dog at my notes and I don't remember what I told you before! Nancy told me to do it!
But Republican 6th District Congressman Tom Petri points out rationing takes place now for example with who gets shots or organ donations. And he says if funding for health care reform isn't there we could see more.
Didn't Steve Kagen know this or did he not want to tell you? Isn't Kagen a doctor? What is his excuse here? Tom Petri must of read it and Steve Kagen said he did but is just misleading people.
“There's not enough money to pay for what's being promised and we could go to rationing or delays, waiting for service,” said Petri.
Petri has that right.
Another concern is the reform encourages euthanasia for seniors. Not true. The plan does outline paying doctors for consulting with patients about private end-of-life decisions... In what is described as "Advanced planning consultations."
So consulting with patients about private end-of-life decisions sounds like ending seniors lives
but you should believe Steve Kagen when he says it is not true!
“You talk about misrepresenting what is real this was a republican idea it is a fantastic idea for the very first time Medicare would compensate a doctor for sitting down to listen to the choices that his or her patients wants to make,” said Kagen.
What did he say? "This was a republican idea? " Now I heard it all. So we have to pay a doctor for talking to a patient? Isn't that what they do anyway? Steve Kagen wants government consultants to tell seniors, sorry, we need to save money so please go die! Wow, let me tell my mom that.
Petri says many of the provisions in the plan are undefined, and constituents are coming forth with the right concerns.
At least Mr. Perti understands the people of this state.
“I think people are trying to understand what it is and how it will work,” said Petri.
Amen to that.
“I'd say don't scare people reassure them with the facts, the truth,” said Kagen.
How can anyone believe Congressman Kagen? At his listening sessions he even said this is not the final bill. If we have no real bill yet, how can Kagen give us facts, truth? How can Kagen say there will be no rationing? How can Kagen say there will be no reforms that encourages euthanasia for seniors? Steve Kagen is giving us Nancy Pelosi talking points and he knows it!
The $1-trillion cost also remains a criticism. Kagen says the plan will stimulate the economy and create jobs, Petri says just the opposite.
Another $1-trillion cost? Where is Kagen getting all this money?
“This is going to be the biggest stimulus without taxing anybody--without taking 99% of the people,” said Kagen.
Steve Kagen, another stimulus? 99% of americans will not be taxed?
Where did he dig that up? Seniors will be told to die early, your health care will be rationed, you will be told to take a blue pill and go home and Steve Kagen says, it won't cost you anything! My God people, how can anyone believe Steve Kagen?
“I don't really thing we should be approaching health care reform as a temporary economic stimulus package, it's an ongoing human need,” said Petri."

Petri sometimes turns RINO for his constituents but here he hits the bulls eye. And for Steve Kagen, it's time to send him home before our state our country and our freedom will be gone forever.
