Oil Gasoline Prices- Let's give credit where credit is due.

"Bush lifts oil drilling ban, wants Congress to act

By BEN FELLER, Associated Press Writer Mon Jul 14, 7:31 PM ET

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Monday lifted an executive ban on offshore oil drilling and challenged Congress to follow suit, aiming to turn the enormous public frustration about gasoline prices into political leverage. Democratic lawmakers rejected Bush's plan as a symbolic stunt. " Bush lifts oil drilling ban, wants Congress to act - Yahoo! News

It's time we admit what the President did has moved wholesale oil and gasoline prices. And where is it today July 17th 5:00 p m?

Nymex Crude Future 129.29 down 5.31
Nymex RBOB Gasoline Future 316.33 down 11.61

So where is congress? Where will prices go if they pass a bill to drill with no strings attached.

From SBVOR, keep up the GREAT work.

Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less
" SBVOR: Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less

Thank you President Bush, keep the ball rolling.

How many voters are giving him credit. What dem's will take credit for doing nothing when gas drops fast this coming week. The parade of lefties will be painted as hero's. Wait and see.

Paul,

I first learned of the “Drill Here, Drill Now” petition from you (and said so here).

So, the credit goes back to you and I extend my thanks for your great work.

Keep it up!

SBVOR, We are all in this together to get this fuel mess fixed. Your posts give GREAT information that I am still incapable of doing. Maybe some day most voters will understand supply and demand, drilling our own oil, and conservatives will not ruin the planet but we too appreciate the environment we live in. For right now oil runs our economy until something better comes along. Thank you for your expertise.Keep it up

With apologies, the link which Paul originally offered was moved to a new URL:

The new URL name was necessitated by a technical issue. Hopefully, that will never happen again.

My current primary post on that topic is found here.

Another recent related entries are found here and here.
