Wisconsin Spending, It Wasn't The Dems Fault

Seems State Rep. Penny Bernard Schaber, D-Appleton, from the 57th District .forgot how Wisconsin got into a budget nightmare I like her quote at the end of this article on Wisconsin budget spending.

Wisconsin spending beyond its means | postcrescent.com | Appleton Post Crescent:

"Whatever shape the cuts take, Bernard Schaber wants to make sure the Democrats aren't made scapegoats."

Poor Penny, don't blame her, she just voted for run away spending with Diamond Jim Doyle. May she has a medical problem, lost memory.

I hope people know that in 2008, we expected a $6 Billion deficit for the 2009-2011 biennual budget. That's half that of the proposed 2011-2013 biennual budget. Doyle didn't go anywhere and say "Wisconsin's Broke," he didn't "bust" unions. He did decrease wages for public unionized workers through furlough days and other cost saving measures. What was the end result of this proposed $6 Billion budget deficit? A BUDGET SURPLUS! So yeah, it's not the Democrats fault. In fact, I think they have the solution...
