Madison - When he first ran for governor in 2002, Jim Doyle said his goal would be to shrink the size of the state work force to 1987 levels over the course of four budgets - amounting to about 10,000 jobs in eight years. " JS Online: Doyle’s goal for job cuts is unmet

But nearly three-quarters of the way through his first two terms, the number of state government jobs will have fallen by 2,730 jobs by the end of the budget that expires June 30, 2009.

And how many people who voted for Doyle believed he would follow through on a campaign promise?

Uninformed voters.

Remember EVIL Mark Green.
