Washington - Taking a page from John McCain's campaign playbook, Republican John Gard is challenging his Democratic opponent to a series of town hall meetings. " JS Online: Gard challenges Kagen to town hall meetings

Like Barack Obama, Steve Kagen won’t agree to his challenger’s request without some caveats.
Just like a child (Kagen) in a sand box. "I'm not going to play with him till he gives me his shovel and pale, mommy, mommy, tell him to give it to me!".

In response, Kagen’s campaign manager Casey Frary said the lawmaker would be happy to hold a town hall meeting with Gard. But, Frary said, that’s only after Gard returns the campaign contributions he has received from the oil and gas industry.

You have got to feel sorry for the Kagen staff, Poor Casey Frary has to come out with a lame excuse for not having a debate. Steve Kagen is afraid to have debates because he is not ready for this election!

If John Gard should give back money, how about Steve Kagen doing the same?

Maybe Steve should give back some of the following money from his campaign. Why is he taking a lot of hard working people's money for his campaign?

My comments are to the right of all the $10,000.00 plus donations.

American Crystal Sugar $10,000 - They are in Moorhead, MN. There has got to be a story here somewhere? What is the connection? With the high cost of dentistry where are the soccer moms. EVIL SUGAR creating cavities for their young children. I thought sugar is more evil then big oil? Remember Sugar Frosted Flakes, Sugar Pops, those names are gone. This money should be given back or donated to the the poor children that need oral care. Steve, give the money back!

Don't get me wrong, everyone can contribute to who ever they want.

Just remember the old saying "People Who Live In Glass Houses Should Not Throw Stones."

So when is the first debate?
