Executives unsure what the future may hold for property after demolition" LdF tribe eyes demolition and re-development of Elgin property

A good read about some work Steve Kagen is doing for re-development property in Elgin.

A couple parts concerning Steve Kagen and the people of the 8th District of Wisconsin or the people of Illinois and Lac du Flambeau tribe.
Sale of the property
As reported in a previous article in The Lakeland Times by Richard Moore, tribal leaders have said they have no intention of selling tribal fee lands on the reservation, even those that may be mortgaged for cash flow.

However, they had also stated that a recent bill proposed by congressman Steve Kagen is more closely related to the former site of the Simpson Electric Company in Elgin, as well as other property.

And this,
The Kagen bill, which now sits in a long line of bills before the congressional committee of natural resources, would allow the sale of fee land to occur without the tribe having to gain approval from the secretary of the department of Interior.

High Gasoline prices, New Page Niagara and Kimberly lost jobs and high food prices,

I am just asking if the Steve Kagen bill is for the people of the 8th district of Wisconsin or for the people of Elgin Illinois?

Who is working for who? What does all this mean?

People of the 8th district, end our misery, it's time for someone new for 8th district congress.
