Steve Kagen Invents Internet

Steve Kagen is coming to Green Bay to tell everyone he invented the internet. Oh that's right, ALGORE did that.

From the Green Bay Press
"Stimulus money could be coming to Green Bay to help improve broadband Internet access.

The U.S. Department of Commerce announced today that Deputy Secretary Dennis Hightower, Gov. Jim Doyle and Rep. Steve Kagen will hold a press conference Thursday to discuss the plan.

The Recovery Act initiative will “help bridge the technological divide, boost economic development, create jobs and improve education and health care” through the improvement of Internet access, according to the department.

No other details were provided.

Department Secretary Gary Locke will visit Pittsburgh, Pa., and Wheeling, W. Va., to make a similar announcement." Stimulus money could be coming Green Bay's way for Internet access improvement | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

How will Steve Kagen create jobs from the internet? Let's see.

Hire union employees to move the mouse for K4 - 12th grade students?

Give libraries grants to show people how to look up porn on library computers?

Give a bonus to teachers for showing students how to "double click"?

Give each senior citizen over 80 a free laptop?

Give one of his constituents (me) DSL in the northern compound? Naw, I wouldn't take it.

Sounds like it will be a payback to the teachers and unions! Kagen is sure loose with our tax money. What will Congressman Kagen say to create jobs with the internet. We shall see.
