Obama Health Care Town Hall Meeting

1331 Packerland Drive, Green Bay

According to the web site, if your name is selected, you will be called and will be permitted to pick up two tickets. If you are not selected, you will not be called. You must apply via the web site before noon Tuesday.

Jerry Bader, morning talk show host at 1360 WTAQ in Green Bay is suggesting a counter rally that can’t be ignored, i.e., 2,000 or 3,000 people. His theme comes from the Party of Know, used by Ronald Zahn of De Pere and documented in this May 20 FoxPolitics piece. Ronald was one of the attendees of a non-tea party tea part group of folks in Greenleaf.

There was a mini-conversation about Republicans being the “party of NO.” [Senator Al] Lasee said he was proud to have said no – over and over and over. He reminded the group Republicans would have to be saying more and more of it in response to the dreadful budget put forward by Governor Doyle. Ronald Zahn, now of De Pere, said something like “I’m proud to be the party of NO – not “NO” – but rather, “the party of KNOW.” We KNOW the constitution and we KNOW the American entrepreneurial spirit.” I would add, we KNOW liberty and we KNOW freedom – and we KNOW what it takes to keep this great country free and prosperous.

If you believe you’re a member of the Party of KNOW, make yourself a homemade sign and get yourself over to Southwest High School Thursday mid-morning. Keep watch!! at www.partyofknow.org for where-to-meet-when details, as they develop.
