"Kagen secured $5.2 million for dredging the Green Bay Harbor and $950,000 to dispose of what comes out of there. The congressman also got $3.8 million for buses and bus facilities statewide and more than $1 million for the Outagamie County Regional Airport in Greenville.
"These projects were requested by local leaders and represent another step toward our economic recovery," Kagen said in a statement.
Other funding requests include $230,000 for the Brown County police radio tower, $330,000 for facilities and equipment for the Green Bay Police Department, $314,000 for a welding program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and $143,000 for the Stockbridge-Munsee Library and Museum."
