"Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit Of Happiness

Green Bay Tea Party

I am not an organizer of this tea party. I am a simple conservative guy in Oconto County who seen the Green Bay Tea Party from a blog called TRY2Focus, one GREAT American from Howard. My blood boils when I see our taxes raised, and our government taking away our freedoms. Rick Santelli and his voice gave me the drive and desire to get off my butt and do something before it is too late. Thank You Rick for your inspiration.

So far, I only know is it will be at 11:00 at Titletown. I have no idea on how many of you will show up. What can you do? Be there. Bring Rally Signs, Tea and Pork Rinds. I'm sure together we can find
something to do with them.

If you've never done anything like this before, your in good company. Our forefathers of this great country were simple hard working people just like you. Be not afraid. I welcome all God fearing Americans to join me. This is only the first step. Your human spirit as an American is being crushed and trampled. It's just an hour and you will be surprised there are a lot of people in Northeastern Wisconsin that have the same beliefs, worries and concerns that you have.

If you don't do it for yourself, do it for your children and grandchildren. They are the ones that will take the full force of this government takeover of freedom as we know it.

To me, this tea party is not about the policy of our current government officials. It is about our beliefs, our values, our liberty and our God given right's as citizens of the United States of America.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,

That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Tell your friends and neighbors.

I would be proud to see you there. Please join me.

P S, any blogger from Wisconsin, Green Bay or anywhere in the United States that would help spread the word about the Green Bay Tea Party, it would be appreciated.

Update, I forgot to ask any radio, TV or newspapers help would also be appreciated if they want to report non bias news in Green Bay. I won't hold my breath.

Hi,
I would like to see this mentioned on the news BEFORE it happens:

The City of Green Bay is having a GREEN BAY (Boston) TEA PARTY this weekend, on SATURDAY, March 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. There will be radio stations, and newspaper, and TV news people there to watch the event. This will be your chance to let our Local, State, and Federal Representatives know that we are paying to much taxes, and need Tax Credits or at least NO TAX INCREASES, to get the Economy back on track.
Do not bring Tea, Bring your SIGNS, and tell others about this. It is currently on the radio stations, and may hit other news media before the weekend, but word of mouth is also a great way to let others know about this. It will be by the Fox River on Dousman Street, at or near the Titletown Restaurant / Brewery, or the Old Rail Road Station. This is also going on in many other parts of the country as well.
