At the bottom of the overall state ranking is Menominee County, which also ranks last in the factors that influence the quality of health, such as personal habits, clinical care, social and economic measures and the environment.

Today I read what Diamond Jim Doyle gave to Menominee County last week.

Doyle presents Menominee with $4.3 million
By Tim Ryan, Leader Reporter

KESHENA — Gov. Jim Doyle visited the Menominee Indian Reservation Friday to award the tribe with $4.3 million in stimulus funding for its new transit center.

The event at the Cultural Center at College of Menominee Nation came a year to the day since President Barack Obama signed the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act into law.

“This is a really well-thought out transit plan,” Doyle said. “It’s designed to reflect what the needs of the people are.”

So people in Menominee County are sick or might be dying from lack of health care and Doyle gives them $4.3 mil for transit?

Money for transit and not for health care?

My God, where is the outrage?
