Local Wrestler Named Most Outsatanding

"The Cougars had nine of the 14 first-team wrestlers, although Gillett-Suring senior Trent Smits was named the league’s most outstanding wrestler.

Smits, who worked primarily at 152 this season but also spent time at 160, showed why the league recognized him when he took third place in a tough 152-pound field at individual state."
