Ok, the GB P G has three articals about McCain or Obama. They also on the web version tell you Obama is coming to Green Bay on Monday. Are they telling you that the messiah is following John MCain to Green Bay? Well, that's besides the point. The first three headlines are McCain Pailin.
Then from the Appleton P C. Out of nine headlines not one word spoken about McCain in Green Bay. Let me see, Appleton is only 30 miles from Green Bay, the republican candidate for president and VP visit the area and they make no mention of it. What gives?
Deceitful, left leaning, rag newspaper from Appleton cannot even report the latest news of the day. And they are running a business to keep the local Appleton Newspaper afloat?
You wonder why the Appleton P C is on the side of Steve Kagen and the left!
Unbias reporting, not today!

Paul, I'd like to point out that the McCain-Palin visit was one of the three stories posted in our carousel on the home page throughout the day. The carousel is the most prominent spot on the home page. Also, we sent multiple e-mail newsletters throughout the day that prominently featured the McCain-Palin visit. We also carried a live broadcast of the visit on our home page. Additionally, it was the centerpiece item in our print edition Friday. Finally, you might be interested in a blog item I posted questioning the lack of outrage over the manipulation of images of John McCain by the freelance photographer Jill Greenberg. We are committed to providing fair coverage of the candidates' visits, and I think you'll find in the totality of coverage there is no bias toward either presidential ticket.
Best wishes,

Joel, sorry for the late response. Thank you for your comment. I did my post at the time and when I did, your home page only showed what I posted. If I was wrong I apologize for my mistake.
First I question your employer and the slant the APC has shown in the past. Also I am assuming since one of your past employees works for the Steve Kagen campaign the Kagen camp and APC are in bed together. I see a lot of left leaning reporting and not a lot of positive news for the conservatives in the valley. If your employer is for Kagen and lefty issues, I am fine with that. I just would like to see some honesty and admit it up front.
Keep up your great work and thank you for reading my blog.
P S , please do not tell anyone at the paper I gave you a compliment. I need to keep my evil right wing reputation to all who read my blog. Have a GREAT week

Speaking as a former Gannett employee, I can assure you that all the company cares about is making the most money it can, especially by taking out the competition (ask the G.B. News-Chronicle). And I wouldn't judge any media outlet - even Fox News - on what appears on one particular day. Judge them by the whole of their work.
Drbear, thank you for your comment. If they were in it for the money they would increase revenue if the were excuse me for saying "fair and balanced, (and honest)" I agree even Fox News is not the picture the right might think it is.
Have a GREAT weekend and thank you again.
