As a result, North Dakota pulled hunter-donated venison from its food pantries, causing other states — including Wisconsin and Minnesota — to conduct examinations of venison for traces of le

And then the poor eagles.
"In Wisconsin, we found lead poisoning in eagles increased with the onset of the hunting season," Strom said. "We examined 583 dead eagles from 2000 to 2007 and found about 15 percent of the deaths were due to lead poisoning."
Eagles readily dine on the remains of hunter-killed deer and other animals that die in road-side collisions. Strom said the leading cause of eagle deaths "is being hit by cars" as they scavenge on road kills.
There you go, another reason to ban cars. They kill most eagles, where is the outrage. Those poor eagles. Who would of thought.
Ban the cars!
Oh Brother!
