I was in Sault Ste. Marie for my job this week and talked to one of the locals on that part of Upper Michigan.
We talked about the low value of the dollar and wondered if a lot of Canadians came across to Michigan to buy their products on the U.S. side. His comment was,
"with all the talk of blaming the oil companies, they only cross the border for cheep gasoline."
Did I miss something?
Why would they come to the evil U.S. for fuel? At $3.74 gal in Sault Ste. Marie, what are they thinking of?
Will you comrades on the left please explain it to me?
