Gillett Wisconsin Graduation , Class of 2009

Because of the photographer and the camera not all the class of 2009 are pictured and yes what you see is what you get. To those I missed, I apologize. No matter, we are proud of everyone from the class of 2009 at Gillett High School in Gillett Wisconsin.

The following was from Gillett's School Superintendent Mr. Stuart Rivard at the commencement ceremony. It was Mr Rivard's last speech to the students of Gillett for he is retiring at the end of this month. Thank You Mr. Rivard, if they listened to you and I hope they did, you sent them off in a very special way.

Berry Laker Son # 2 Graduation

Berry Laker Son # 2 Graduation at Gillett High School May 31, 2009.

That's my son! On to Marquette in September.

Son # 2, " that's my big brother and I am still stronger then he is!"

Son # 2 throwing shot. His sister thinks he is saying, " I think I gotta poo"! Call your sister on the comment, I didn't say it.

That's my son. He took second at regionals in discus. Yea I know, I didn't have a picture of him throwing the disc.

Got A Stone Barn To Sell You

It used to be people would say "I got a bridge to sell you". Around Northeastern Wisconsin we can now say , "we got a stone barn to sell you", and it's really true!

From Dad29 and JSOnline on all the earmarks in the state porkulas bill for all us sap's in Wisconsin.

Lost all respect for the people of the area just north of here, the Town of Chase, for a $100,000.00 that we can't afford. They have a fundraiser on June 6th, guess they can cancel it since the golden cow came in!


Wonder if they will complain when their property taxes go up. Will they hold Hansen and Nygren's feet to the fire? I don't think Nygren has his fingers in this one. It could be the slimy press had to put a republican's name next to Hansen. Gives Hansen an excuse to blame the right at the next election. I hope not for Nygren's sake.

They say they're a little short to buy more but then I like the comment at the end.

But with land prices down in some areas, and more stewardship dollars available in July, more land buys may be on the way.
