What Can You Buy For $7.69 A Week

So Steve Kagen is giving you $400.00 a year or 7.69 a week.

What can you buy with with $7.69 and aren't you lucky!

The following is taken from a local businesses.

In Shawano one movie ticket, cost $8.00, your still short 31 cents. Wait two weeks to see a flick.

At 1.949 gal ,3.95 gals of gasoline, average car 78.9 miles in your car. Any higher price per gal in your area, just cut back on your trip.

Sale price on a USDA whole tenderloin at 4.99 lb, you can buy 1.4 lbs, go ask the butcher to cut you a small piece.

Golden Plump Rotisserie Chicken sale price of 5.99 each, you can pick up 1.28m chickens. Again, have them cut you an extra leg.

Stouffers Party Size 96 oz frozen Lasagna sale price 10.99, you can only get 71.8 oz or wait two weeks.

Sirloin steak, 3.99 lb on sale, you can buy 1.93 lbs. for your 2.234 family members.

USDA boneless Ribeye steaks on sale at 8.99 lb, you can ask for a 13oz cut of meat.

Oscar Mayer Bologna 1 lb package, 2/$3.00,you can buy 4 lbs and get a $1.69 back in change. We all need to sacrifice, eat bologna, it's cheep.

Ritz Crackers 14.5 - 16 oz box, sale price 2/$4.00, you can pick up 3 boxes and again, winner winner chicken dinner, you get another $1.69 back.

Shoppers Valu Paper plates,100 ct pkg, sale price $1.59, You can buy 400 plates and go home with a $1.33. Buy a small bottle of ketchup and have plate sandwiches.

Maxwell House coffee, sale price of 5.99 for a 39 oz can. You might be able to buy some coffee creamer with the change.

For you smokers you can get one pack a week, what a deal! That's 2.85 cigs a day. Oh, forgot, Doyle and O are raising cigarette taxes, forget the smokes.

Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, sale price 23.99 for a 1.75 ltr, your SOL, you have to wait four weeks to buy it!

24/ 12 oz Bud Light cans, sale price 14.99, Sorry,you can't buy it. Have to save for two weeks to have a cold beer.

20 12 oz NR Bud, Bud Light or Bud Select at sale price of 12.49, Out of luck buddy, you wait again for two weeks to buy it! You could settle for a six pack every week.

At McDonalds seven McDoubles or McChicken sandwiches, depending on your local taxes, you might get some change back. Sorry no soda, coffee or fry's.

How about getting the Green Bay Press Gazette? You can get two weeks a month of the newspaper and still have change left. Well, not sure if the PG would let you take only two weeks a month. You could get the 1st and third weeks of the month and maybe save on some coupons if your lucky. Maybe the second and fourth weeks would be better. Hey that's it, the newspapers should go to every other week deliveries so everyone in Wisconsin can get their paper year round. What a deal.

Steve Kagen wants all of you to sacrifice. How much will you be able to spend with your $7.69 a week. Another question, what happens when gasoline goes to 4.24 gal., then what? What will Steve Kagen say and what will you tell him?

Steve Kagen is boasting of all this stimulus money you are getting. He wants you to thank him for it! You can call or e mail him and thank him for the four lbs. of bologna you can buy each week. You know he is waiting to hear from you. He is waiting for all the calls from the people of the 8th district thanking him for all the hard work he is doing for you. He's doing all this for you.

Steve, thank you so much for voting the stimulus package. I'm going to stay up all night just wondering what I can do with my $7.69 a week.

Or you could just hand it over to Jim "Craps" Doyle (WEAC/HoChunk-For Sale) via Big Oil so he can continue to raid the "transportation" fund.

I have a question, what will the casinos give up for the bad economy? Did Doyle ask for more revenues from the gambling halls. I assume not.

Is there still a transportation fund? I thought Doyle spent it all.
