Kagen Watch

The Kagen watch is now on to when Congressman Kagen will debate John Gard on energy.

From Gard for Congress
"Gard Asks Kagen to Hold Joint Town Halls on Gas Prices while Congress is on Five-Week Summer Break
(GREEN BAY) – With Congress poised to begin a five-week break, John Gard is asking incumbent Congressman Steve Kagen to use some of that time off to hold a weekly town hall meeting on the top issue in the 2008 campaign – gas prices.

Gard has made his plan to expand American energy production, and his disagreements with Kagen’s repeated votes to ban oil drilling, the centerpiece of his campaign.

In a letter faxed to Kagen yesterday, Gard says he hopes Kagen “will agree...that this [Congressional] break is a good opportunity to start a positive dialogue about the honest differences you and I have on issues.” " Gard for Congress - Gard Asks Kagen to Hold Joint Town Halls on Gas Prices while Congress is on Five-Week Summer Break
