For the seventh day, Republican Members have journeyed back to Washington, D.C. and called on Speaker Pelosi to reconvene the House of Representatives, all while she travels around the country promoting her new book. Speaker Pelosi has continued to dismiss the voices of millions of Americans as they encourage her to bring Congress back into session and Vote on H.R. 6566 – American Energy Act.
We will meet again tomorrow morning to continue addressing real energy solutions. Beginning at 11:00 a.m., staff-led tour groups are encouraged to join us on the Floor and listen to the debate. Please enter through the Republican Cloakroom. If staff or tours have any trouble at all, please email me and I will meet you or your tour to bring them onto the House Floor.
