Editorial from today's Green Bay Press Gazette

Editorial: Big Oil tax will only hurt consumers
We have a number of questions: Do people understand that without profits, any business venture will shrivel and die? Do people really believe the price of gasoline is going up solely because Big Oil wants higher profits? Do people
really trust Big Government (which would receive the tax) to spend these "windfall" dollars in a wiser fashion than Big Oil would? Most important, do
people really believe government can increase taxes on Big Oil without the cost being passed on to consumers somehow, in some way?

Here, here, bully Press Gazette. Your right on!

In the short term, we should be conserving fuel in whatever
way we can. In the long term, we should encourage any and all ways to wean ourselves from dependence on foreign oil, including greater freedom to tap domestic production and renewed efforts to find alternative fuels.

"Tap domestic production", Holly cow, what's going on with the PG? Must be the part time writers working this weekend. Funny they didn't get a comment from Steve Kagen. He would of told them to tap the U S oil reserves. How come the PG didn't ask Steve Kagen for a solution?

I still can't believe it , the PG wrote this kind of article? Whether it was the regular staff, the part time weekend staff or maybe, that's it, the janitor wrote it .

Good going Press Gazette.
