So That's How It Works

From the Shawano Leader

“You have to compromise,” Ribble said during a campaign stop in Shawano Friday. “That’s how good government works.”

I did not know that.

So that is how we will get our selves out of this mess?

Yip, yip, yip, yahoo.

Well....

The first time he slip-slid, I thought it was OK. Not great, just OK.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if he's getting his signals from McConnell or Arlen Specter.

DR and Dad, I am baffled on your comments.

I was told to be a good republican and SHUT my mouth when it comes to Mr Ribble. I was told, be a good republican, Ribble is an honest candidate with integrity. I am reminded from the big guys in Milwaukee talk radio that Ribble is a STRONG candidate that we need!

I am reminded from the ruling party that I am........ Ah, forget it, I am sick and tired of the status quo.

Have a GREAT weekend.

Don't be baffled.

Make sure that Ribble hears from you, regularly.

Remind him that elections happen every two years and that his next opponent may actually be a Conservative, if necessary.

Well, I am unwilling to settle for the scraps any more. Act like a Conservative or we will find someone who will. The party bosses need to wake up. All my donations I normally send their way went directly to the candidates or to Jim DeMint's Senate Conservative Fund.

That's OK guys....

One of the Ribble staffers called me a RINO at the Outagamie County Victory Center because I refused to be shut up and have been critical on Ribble gaffs. I am supposed to fall in line and "be a good republican when I am out in the community.

This is how we got in this mess. I don't believe for one minute that Reagan's 11th Commandment meant that we overlook our candidates mistakes.

We need to hold these guys accountable. I will be watching Ribble like a hawk...especially how he votes when it comes to immigration and who he favors with tax breaks.

If he does not measure up on the issues he will be a one term congressmen.

Dale, thanks for your comment.

I'm off to vote. I made a promise after McCain in 2008 I would never vote for a RINO again.

Ribble seems to fit the the McCain mold. I keep hearing we need to hold Ribble to his votes or he will be a one term congressman. That doesn't tell me much today, the day of the vote.

Let me say it again.

I will not hold my nose again in the voting booth.

Have a GREAT day.
