Why can't we just retake the Republican Party and kick the RINOs out? We could withhold votes and donations from candidates who do not tow the line. Think that would work better than starting from scratch?

Perhaps we'll get an actual Conservative Party that has at it's core belief in less government, lower taxes and socially conservative values.

there are conservative people out there, we just have to find them and get them to start running for office. Local, state, national.

that's what we have to work on. I agree, we can't start from scratch, but I will not vote and hold my nose for a moderate or a RINO.
The right candidates have a chance to be a part of the groundswell in 2010. We just need to find the conservative candidates.
