Steve Kagen's Own PR Machine

k.
Two articles about Brandon Rudie, sorry no, it's about Steve Kagen from two different newspapers on two different weeks. The first from November 16th from the Appleton Post Crescent. The second from today's Green Bay Press. See how they use the word "INSPIRES" in both headlines. How low does the press have to be to keep shilling for Steve Kagen?

Did Jake the snake call the Green Bay Press and tell them to run the story in Green Bay? To use a three year old boy and his misfortune is just wrong. To use this three year old boy to campaign for 2010 is just wrong! If this would of ran in the Green Bay Press on the 16th like the Post Crescent, you could say it was a regional story. The press is just moving the story around to prop up Congressman Steve Kagen. How low can the Green Bay Press get to shill for Kagen. You would think the parents see through this. The Green Bay Press owes Brandon an apology, he suffered enough.

"Brandon Rudie inspires U.S. Rep. Steve Kagen on health care reform
By J.E. Espino • Post-Crescent West • November 16, 2009

Scott and Brenda Rudie say they have no interest in getting caught up in partisan politics, but they have become participants in the heated national debate over health care reform.

The Rudies' son Brandon, 3, who was badly injured in a freak accident on the family's Outagamie County property on July 11, has become something of a poster child for reform, thanks to U.S. Rep. Steve Kagen, D-Appleton, a reform advocate.

The Rudies, who live in the Town of Dale, say they only want someone on their side when it comes to getting affordable health care for all."
