Since most of this weekend is "Packers all the time" I thought I would make a couple comments after watching a lot of ESPN and NFL network. Oh yes I have NFL network , I have Dish T V.
O K watching ESPN, they keep talking about the Packers screen plays that the team does so well. Excuse me, if you look at the whole 2007 season, the Packers did not use the screen very often because it didn't work very well. Look at the records. Yes the past Packer teams were noted for the screen play even go back to Lombardi. But not this past year. You experts , get your stories straight.
ESPN and NFL Network,
I fully agree that Brett and the offence is big and maybe most of the success in 2007. Tom Brady and Randy Moss, yes, a scoring machine! With only three games left to the season, one thing has to be said. The team with the best defence will win. Look at the Packers Super Bowl win, (Green Bay 35 New England 21) they had Reggie White and all the rest of the Packer defence. Brett scored and the defence held the Pats. Look at the 85 Bears, ( Chicago 46 New England 10 )Ditka had a great defence that could stop everyone they played.
So two Super Bowl years , two great defences, and two loses by the New England Patriots.
Wow, what coincidence.
NFL Network, I am sick and tired of watching all those New England games of the past, STOP showing them!
