"White deer killed in south Wood County

Wood County residents are occasionally encountering all-white deer, a rare and protected animal."
At 6:05 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a vehicle struck a white deer
near the intersection of highways S and F in Sigel. The deer was 100
percent white and had brown eyes, Wood County Sheriff's Department Lt.
Quentin Ellis said.
