Was watching T V with my bride and saw our hero.

At least our candidate was in a Hollywood movie.

I did not see the barracuda, maybe after her presidency.

Blogger Post Comment

Please read the following post.

I am a simple blogger and wear bi focal glasses. I am also hard of hearing which has nothing to do with reading my favorite and not so favorite blogs.

I love all the creativity in the formats of many great and informative blogs out there.

My problem is when I go to some blogs no not all, I cannot read them, or have difficulty trying to read the post.

I see very dark backgrounds and type that blends right into the background colors.

I am not knocking any blogs but just wanted to pass this information on to anyone that might be starting a new blog. Sorry, if you want readership, please think about your color choice. Please make it user friendly.

Some of us old people are the voters conservatives are looking for but some in the blogosphere make it difficult to read your GREAT blogs. To all the lefty blogs that use those far out colors on your blogs, keep it going, I don't read your blog anyway.

Please think about the color of print and background colors you might use.

Sorry, I know this is making the rounds but we are talking about our could be , no I don't think next V P of the United States. The man is in a wheel chair and Joe didn't know. What if this happened to Sara? I feel sorry for Chuck every time I see this.

Excuse me Mr. Biden, he is in a Wheel chair.

"Joe Biden released 10 years of tax returns today. Joe would be considered amongst the wealthy, according to Barack Obama, as he’s averaged about $270,000 of income over the past five years. And, while Joe managed to pay nearly $185,000 in mortgage interest during that five years, he was only able to find $2,655 to give to charities! No, that’s not $260,000, it’s not even $26,000. Joe Biden gave $2,655 to charities over the past five years.

While Barack Obama has increased his charitable contributions since he has received a significant income bump from his book royalties, the maximum he and Michelle were unable to give prior to that bump was $3,400. In fact, prior to his bump, even though he and Michelle averaged over $240,000 per year, they could only find an average of $2,154 of contributions in the same years.

In Barack Obama’s mind the “wealthy” including himself and Joe Biden who make around $250,000 contribute less than 1% of their income to charity. In fact, in Joe Biden’s case the contribution is only .3% of his gross income." No Runny Eggs

Where is their compassion?

Why do they not give more to the poor.

Because their liberal and they don't have to.

They just want you to give more in taxes, don't you know.

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

GREEN BAY, Wis. - A 33-year-old woman is accused of stealing her daughter's identity to attend high school and join the cheerleading squad.

Wendy Brown is charged with felony identity theft after enrolling in a Wisconsin high school as her daughter. The criminal complaint says Brown admitted to telling school officials she was 15 because she wanted to get her high school diploma and join the cheerleading squad.

She allegedly attended practices, received a cheerleader's locker and went to a pool party at the coach's house.

The complaint says Brown has a history of identity theft.

Her daughter lives in Nevada with Brown's mother.

There was no lawyer listed in Brown's online court records and her home number could not be found.

Old Democrat Not

From Mr. Ajami, a professor of Middle Eastern Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies, The Johns Hopkins University. Some how I found this post.

"The warrior’s garb sits uneasily on Barack Obama’s shoulders: Mr. Obama seeks to reassure Americans that he and his supporters are heirs of Roosevelt and Kennedy;" Election américaine: Pour une Amérique américaine (McCain as the last defense against the Europeanization of America) « jcdurbant

The point to all Roosevelt and Kennedy democrats is that Obama is not of their generation. No matter how much he tries, Obama is not of the party they grew up with, believed in and loved from the 30's to early 60's.

When they go into the voting booth in November, is Obama the same man as Roosevelt or Kennedy? No I am not bringing race into it. I am bringing up their beliefs and party loyalty that the generation of Roosevelt and Kennedy stood for. The democrat party of today is not the party of the 30's to 60's. Obama does not talk and connect with the older voters of Roosevelt and Kennedy. He may be a great speaker but as to take a line from L Benson, you are no FDR or no JFK.

There is something we need to ask the 70 plus democrats that will be voting this November.

Race has nothing to do with beliefs.

To conservatives our beliefs are of no color, no party, no gender only our belief in God Almighty.

To democrats I ask, are their beliefs of no color, no party or of no gender or is it for the pure hatred for Bush, for money ( special interest ) or for ultimate power?

Again, the question, is Barack Obama the heir apparent to FDR or JFK.

Old or new democrats, I'm not sure, I am guessing not.

Something to think about.

Beleaguered Harlem Congressman Charles Rangel withdrew his divorce against his wife of 42 years on the same day he came clean on his Dominican Republic tax dodge, The Post has learned.

Rangel, whom the House ethics committee is probing for misusing Congressional stationery and a sweetheart rent control deal, had originally blamed his wife, Alma, 77, a retired social worker, for the Caribbean casita tax accounting snafu.

I wish I could ask my mother how someone married for 42 years suddenly wants a DIVORCE is beyond me. My mom is a good lefty and I will not ask out of respect this lefty problem. My sister is another person I could ask. No sis, I will be more civil then the people you associate with. Sis, I may be conservative but I am not like the people you vote for. Whether my mom, sister or other liberals out there, conservatives are fair game, but attack a democrat is blasphemy. Go figure.

My question is, are both sincere about getting back together or is this a simple way to play the Monopoly GET OUT OF JAIL card? There I go again hoping in God's faith that both are faithful and are getting back together for their love for each other and their love for their God.

And us conservatives are the evil ones.

Who would of thought.

Kagen, Special Interests

America’s Agenda: Health Care for Kids sent from St. Louis Missouri a mailer for Steve Kagen. Kagen tells us he is working hard for the people of the 8th district of Wisconsin. Can we also ask who is paying Steve Kagen?

The mailer is sent from Missouri and if you want to contact them you have to go to Washington D C .

Below are the contact names and numbers. Why is a group from Washington D C involved with Steve Kagen..

Steve Kagen or his hacks tells us that John Gard is playing dirty politics and we have Washington D C special interest groups running the Kagen campaign.

Time to send Steve Kagen back to private practice.

Go John Gard!

Steve Kagen,( St Louis) Local Campaigning

.
The latest mailer from 8th District Congressman Steve Kagen from Wisconsin.

My first comment is it was sent from and I quote
" Presorted Standard U S Postage PAID St. Louis, MO Permit # 1206 ", go ahead look at your mailer. Why are people in Missouri sending information concerning the 8th district in Wisconsin.
.
.
.
.
Second, This group is giving Steve Kagen credit for the Children's Health Insurance Program or CHIP program.

From January 22,1999

HHS Secretary Donna E. Shalala has approved Wisconsin's proposal to expand BadgerCare health insurance coverage to uninsured children through the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Secretary Shalala also announced the approval of a Medicaid Sectin 115 waiver that serves as a companion to the CHIP program. You can find the link at HHS

So Steve Kagen is getting someone from outside of Wisconsin to give him credit for a program that has been around for what nine years (1999)?

People of Wisconsin and people of the 8th district of Wisconsin. How much more questionable campaigning will you let Steve Kagen throw at voters in this election. Steve Kagen should disavow this group. Are the people of Missouri allowed to run the politicians of Wisconsin? Will the MSM pick up on this? Highly doubtful. Will anyone look deeper into Steve Kagen and the
" Paid for by American's Agenda: Health for Kids" which is also on the bottom of the front of the mailer.

Channel 2 WBAY Green Bay, Channel 5 WFRV Green Bay, WLUK channel 11 Green Bay, WGBA channel 26 Green Bay, Green Bay Press Gazette and the Appleton Post Crescent.

Will anyone look into this story, highly unlikely. Where is the outrage? When will someone look into the politics of the 2008 election. It is the MSM's duty to investigate and report unbiased news.

Yawn, St.Louis, no big deal?

8th District Primary Election Results

From the Lakeland - Times

"In the race for the state congressional districts, Vilas County showed a slight split between Steve Kagen, 296 votes, and John Gard, 413 votes." Ostermann emerges from primary with win over Carroll

Oneida County swayed the other way with Kagen receiving 573 votes to Gard's 355.

From the unofficial Oconto County Results

Kagen - 748 votes

Gard - 2218 votes

I need to check with the county clerk from Oconto, 1470 some odd votes for John Gard, Come on!

This is only from two sources.

I think most people in Onieda County were hunting in the north woods showing Kagen ahead in that county.

The rest must be a lot of crossover votes in the 8th district.

Things can change and remember this was only the primary.

Psst, Go John Gard

Hansen / Fradette 30th Wisconsin Senate District

I did a post about congressman Steve Kagen about his election play book. Lets look at what Dave Hansen will do or not do for his upcoming election.

I have the same questions for Dave Hansen for the Senate 30 th district of Wisconsin. The names were changed but the meaning is the same.

Let us look at the Hansen's political game plan for 2008. Dave Hansen was with Joe Biden last Monday and what 450, 500 even the MSM said a 1000 ( MSM inflating numbers, no there was not a 1000) people attended the rally in Green Bay. So Dave Hansen was with the power of the democratic juggernaut. Only 500 people, where was Dave Hansen's constituents?

My question is, will Dave Hansen be front and center with Barack Obama at his next rally in Northeastern Wisconsin. Dave was front and center with Joe Biden, but will he do the same when O comes to town?

How strong will Dave Hansen campaign for Barack Obama or will Dave Hansen stay under the radar screen to save his political seat?

Obama supporters, I ask you, how strong will Dave Hansen back your candidate? Will he campaign hard for Obama or will Mr. Hansen be too worried about O's liberal stances to even risk being seen with him? Will Dave Hansen run from the Barack Obama campaign? It sure seems that way to me.

Will Dave Hansen keep his distance from the messiah Obama. I will wait for a T V spot with Barack and Hansen together telling the people of the 30th Wisconsin Senate district.to vote for them for change, for hope. Ah, not sure if that will happen.

Now we hear news about the Fradette / Hansen election. What gives with these numbers. From the Fradette web site.

"Chad Gets More Votes than Hansen in Primary Election

Even though we weren’t on the ballot against each other yet, it was very telling that I received more votes in Tuesday’s voting than Sen. Hansen did. A longtime incumbent running in his third straight election should probably have had a better showing.

I think this is strong evidence that my message of lower taxes, more jobs, affordable health care, and protecting the unborn is really starting to take hold across the district.

Here’s the final tally:

Chad Fradette: 3,019 votes

Dave Hansen: 2,944 votes"

Chad Fradette For Wisconsin » Blog Archive » Chad Gets More Votes than Hansen in Primary Election

Is Dave Hansen in trouble?

Will Dave Hansen move to the RIGHT?

Will Dave Hansen move to the left with Barack Obama?

It should be interesting to watch Dave Hansen twist his views to the people of the 30th district.

Stay tuned, looks like Chad Fradette is for the people of Wisconsin, not Dave Hansen.

Update 5:05 p m- I just thought the disparity in the number of votes between Hansen and Fradette was the 500 people that were still at the Biden rally and didn't know the rally was over until Wednesday morning. Some one should of told them the rally ended Monday so they could of voted on Tuesday. PRICELESS!

From a newly created blog from Green Bay called "Random Thoughts of a B ClassTrucker":Went through his archives and came across Michael's read on Wal Mart. Seems he has an issue with Wally world.

"Having fun with some of the Roommates, The Manatee and Brewer to be specific, we went to the Walmart in GB at about 1130PM in need of some odds and ends, little things.

Brewer and I enjoy making fun of Walmart as being both a Republican factory and a Republican foodbag. Which begs the question why we keep going there... anyway.

Aside from the continual poking fun at the store in general, we also enjoy making fun of/poking fun at random employees of the evil empire.

While at the checkout, I got .16 cents back in change and as I walked out I asked the lady to "Give my change to the Republican National Committee, would you?"

The more we continue to go there, the more pis_ _ d the employees seem to be, being snarky, cheeky, and generally pithy...

Walmart pis_ _s me off, but I am too poor to stand on principle.

It just amazes me how the left will say one thing and do the opposite. Seems he is going to school here and needs to finish his education. Wondering if he is getting a degree in economics?

Notice I had to clean up some vocabulary in the post. Well with that said, it's good more people starting blogs, free speech, 1st amendment and all. Glad we are not a socialized, communist nation like some on the left would want us. Next thing you know we would only see soccer games on T V.

Steve Kagen Political Game Plan 2008

From the Wall Street Journal, POTOMAC WATCH By KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL
"Pelosi's Gang Feels the Pressure
September 12, 2008
"Something happened on the way to September." Potomac Watch - WSJ.com
If you want to know why Mrs. Pelosi is so eager to now talk energy, this is it. Wisconsin's Steve Kagen, who in 2006 won a district that went 55% for George W. Bush, is getting hammered by his GOP opponent, John Gard, for his party's refusal to pass drilling legislation.

It looks like Nancy to the rescue. Now Kagen can say he is for drilling, yea right!
As for Mr. Obama's 50-state game, many freshman Dems are too worried about being tarred with his liberal stances to even risk being seen with him.

Let us look at the Kagen political game plan for 2008. Steve Kagen was with Joe Biden last Monday and what 450, 500 even the MSM said a 1000 ( MSM inflating numbers, no there was not a 1000) people attended the rally in Green Bay. So Kagen was backing Hillary till she lost, gave his endorsement to Obama and never attended the Denver convention. Why did he not go to Denver?

My question is, will Steve Kagen be front and center with Obama at the next rally in Northeastern Wisconsin. He is fighting for his political life right now and his campaign people are directing him very precisely on where he goes, and what he says. He can't think or speak on his own you know.

How strong will Steve Kagen campaign for Barack Obama or will Steve Kagen stay under the radar screen to save his political rear end?

Obama supporters, I ask you, how strong will Steve Kagen back your candidate? Will he campaign hard for Obama or will Steve Kagen be too worried about O's liberal stances to even risk being seen with him? Is Steve Kagen running from Barack Obama? It sure seems that way to me. I don't hear the MSM picking up on this. If a republican tried this they would be call raciest. Funny the double standards for the people on the left.

Will Steve Kagen keep his distance from the messiah Obama. I will wait for a T V spot with Barack and Kagen together telling the people of the 8th district to vote for them for change, for hope. Ah, not sure if that will happen.

Time will tell till the November election on how Steve Kagen goes forward with is election play book, .

Only $48 year / Taxes Up In Shawano

From the Shawano Leader web site.
"Shawano school referendum passes
By Tim Ryan, Leader Reporter

Voters Tuesday approved a $24.9 million building plan for the Shawano School District, overcoming 11th hour opposition that emerged late last week.

Though the vote was close in some of the outlying areas, voters in the city of Shawano put the measure well over the top.

The total vote was 2,186 in favor to 1,842 against. In the city of Shawano, voters approved the plan by 1,143 to 824.

“It was a nail-biter,” said Lincoln Elementary principal Troy Edwards. “We were only about 25 ahead before Shawano came in.”

The vote means the district can go forward with a new $20.5 million elementary school to handle Early Childhood through second grade. The Olga Brener Elementary School will be remodeled at a cost of $4.4 million into an intermediate school to handle third grade through the fifth grade, which is currently housed at the middle school.

Lincoln Elementary will be discontinued as a school and the district will explore other options for the historic building.

“The children of Shawano won tonight,” Edwards said.

Borrowing for the building plan is expected to add 48 cents per $1,000 to the tax rate, or $48 per year.

“This is great for the students and the community,” said superintendent Todd Carlson.

The next step will be for the architects to begin doing renderings for a more detailed design of the building.

“There’s still a lot of work to be done,” Edwards said.

School officials began looking into options a year ago for dealing with severe overcrowding and space limitations at Olga Brener and the 83-year-old Lincoln Elementary School." Shawano Leader

Only $48.00 a year for the children. Bet there will be a lot of cost over runs.

20.5 mill will turn into 30 mil in a blink of an eye.

Voter Fraud Questions, Milwaukee Style

From WTMJ 4 Milwaukee
"Election Officials Using Tuesday's Primary To Register Voters
Heather Shannon
Katie DeLong
MILWAUKEE - Low turnout is expected in Tuesday's primary election.

There are no state-wide elections on the ballot.

The Milwaukee Election Commission estimates only twelve to fifteen percent of people will vote in Tuesday's primaries, but many polling locations used Tuesday to make sure things run smoothly in November.

Register To Vote signs were posted all over the UWM campus Tuesday." Election Officials Using Tuesday's Primary To Register Voters | Today's TMJ4 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin News, Weather, Sports, WTMJ | Local News

What the HECK is going on here?
Election officials were targeting students Tuesday: historically an age group with one of the lowest voting rates.
Election officials were doing all they can to make it easier for students to vote.

“They're all voting for the first time,” Arney said.

If it weren't for the signs posted all over campus, a lot of students say they would not have even known that they could register at the polls Tuesday.

"Kids have so much going on that they need reminders,” 18-year-old Devan Shihata said.

Shihata, who will vote for the first time on November 4th, brought all her friends to the student polling site to register Tuesday.

“I think it's really important because we are the future,” Shihata said.

Couple of questions.

Why were "Election officials were doing all they can to make it easier for students to vote?" How far exactly did they go?

Is ACORN involved?

Does Tom Barret know about this? Show me fraud, I dare you to show me one case of fraud!

How many students are also going to vote absentee back in their home towns? Isn't voting twice called voter FRAUD?

Is anyone looking into this? There is so much more I could say about this, "Kids have so much going on that they need reminders,” what, are they not adults?

I give up

A long 4 page read but good. I copied this part, interesting.
The witch-trial hysteria of the past two incendiary weeks unfortunately reveals a disturbing trend in the Democratic Party, which has worsened over the past decade. Democrats are quick to attack the religiosity of Republicans, but Democratic ideology itself seems to have become a secular substitute religion. Since when did Democrats become so judgmental and intolerant? Conservatives are demonized, with the universe polarized into a Manichaean battle of us versus them, good versus evil. Democrats are clinging to pat group opinions as if they were inflexible moral absolutes. The party is in peril if it cannot observe and listen and adapt to changing social circumstances.

She sure got that right.

Early Start To Liberalism

From the Green Bay Press Gazette about the Green Bay visit by VP candidate Joe Biden.
"Brillion student gets early start

Brillion High School student Lee Haushalter showed up at 4 a.m. for the event, in which Biden, a Delaware senator, stumped for the Democratic ticket.

Haushalter won't be able to vote, but he hopes to get others interested in the race.

He turns 17 on Nov. 4 — Election Day — and hopes to get Obama elected as president as a birthday present.

The big issues for Haushalter are the economy, the environment and college tuition.

"I want to live without debt over my head," he said." Biden's visit in brief | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

They have them trained well. Yep, he sure is getting an early start to liberalism.
"I want to live without debt over my head," he said."

He is voting democrat because he thinks he can get a free college education? He must think O and B will give him free housing, free health care, free everything. Live without debt over your head is called "WORKING FOR A LIVING." The young boy is brainwashed already. Will someone please be honest with him and tell him the facts of life!

Good job to the teachers at Brillion High School, you must be proud of this mixed up young man.

Our future leaders. People of Brillion , hang onto your wallets in ten to twenty years if this guy decides to run for elected office in your area.

Vote Today

Today is the Wisconsin primary. Please go out and vote.

Couple of things to remember.
If you don't know the people on a specific ballot, pass.

I heard of " I don't know any of these candidates, this name sounds nice , I'll vote for her".
And there's "I won't vote for a female, I'll just vote for this guy."
Or, "does yes mean no or voting no will not raise my taxes?"
How about , " the children really need a new school, I'll vote yes for the children!"
Then there is "CNN said he was not a good candidate!"
And " my union told me to vote all democrat."

Please, if you going to vote put some work and thoughts to who or what you are voting for.
If your not sure , skip that part of the ballot.

It's your right to vote , it is also your duty as a voter to know what and who you are voting for!

Think about it.

Steve Kagen's Plan for Energy for Americans

Hey, look! Steve Kagen is playing the Populist card! Boy, I'll bet you didn't see that one coming.

I like the way he phrased it in his commercial.

* Drill for new oil in America. And guarantee that oil is sold only to Americans only.
* Invest in every single form of renewable energy available.
* Prevent price manipulation everywhere in the world.

I'd like to see the specifics of how, say, we're supposed to keep a fellow in Kuwait from trading in the energy market. If we thought the world hated us for invading Iraq, just wait till we prevent them from making money." Space For Commerce, by Brian Dunbar: Steve Kagen's Plan for Energy for Americans

Steve Kagen's smoke and mirrors seems is getting noticed as we get closer to the election.

Good point Brian.

"Sources: Brady out with ACL tear

By Michael Silver, Yahoo! Sports 12 hours, 46 minutes ago" Sources: Brady out with ACL tear - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a source familiar with the injury.

While New England coach Bill Belichick said in his postgame press conference that he had no update on the status of Brady’s injury, two sources indicated it involved serious damage to the knee.

“It’s bad,” a team source said. “We’re going to have to play without him.”

Its bad all right for me, Tom Brady is my fan football QB.

Now what I do with JTO Sullivan from San Francisco?

Barack Obama has said he considered joining the United States military when he left school but decided not to because the Vietnam war was over and "we weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point". " Barack Obama wanted to join the US military - Telegraph

It's called "RUNNING SCARED"!

BARRACUDA

Really

From Zogby
"The McCain/Palin ticket wins 49.7% support, compared to 45.9% backing for the Obama/Biden ticket, this latest online survey shows. Another 4.4% either favored someone else or were unsure. " Zogby International
In the two-way contest in which just McCain and Obama were mentioned in the question, the result was slightly different, with McCain leading, 48.8% to 45.7%.

From the Green Bay Press. Henry from Pound thinks he got screwed out of six hundred bucks. I'll comment after the article.
"Stimulus should go to all

September 7, 2008 " Stimulus should go to all | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

POUND — On March 3, I sent in my federal tax form with the word "stimulus" on the top of Form 1040A. On July 22, we checked the computer, which said we did not qualify because we did not have enough income.

We had to file a 1040X, pay $25 plus $5 for certified mail to get our $600 per couple, while others received $1,200 per couple.

We all pay $4 a gallon for gas, pay the same for food, clothes or whatever we buy.

Why can't we all receive the same amount — rich or poor?

Henry W.

First Henry,
Why did you have to do the 1040 X,
"Filing an Amended Tax Return" 1040X: Filing an Amended Tax Return Using IRS Form 1040X
Did we make a mistake? Did we forget to put our address on it? I don't know?

Why did you pay $25.00, do you not know how to use the 1040X or did you pay someone else to do your taxes. The $25.00 is a write off for next year don't you know.

$5.00 certified mail? Did we procrastinate and have to get the amended form in right away?

The stimulus checks were supposed to be for people that pay federal taxes. Henry, I am guessing you are retired and are getting SS and you have not paid any federal taxes.

You got $600 bucks , free money and your complaining.

Will Henry pull that lever for Obama in November?

People take for granted government handouts and always want more. It's a sad story of give me more mentality.

Will the younger generation of today pay for the boomers that are getting old now?

When their taxes reach 50 to 75% of their wages they will say enough is enough.

Henry from Pound, As the French say, dumass!

Tickets Anyone

"Tickets still available for Biden's speech Monday in Green Bay" Tickets still available for Biden's speech Monday in Green Bay | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

There still are tickets left for those interested in attending a town-hall meeting Monday with U.S. Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., in Green Bay.

This is a bad sign for Biden and Obama if the paper has to tell people there are tickets available. The KI Convention Center isn't that big. Next thing you know the unions in the area will have to attend to make it look full in the audience. The question for them, will they be paid to see Biden or will they take the time off? I say attend the rally and get paid for it.

The movement goes forward, Barracuda!
