Honey, I' Stuck

From the Green Bay Press.
"Sheriff’s officials said the Oshkosh woman was going from the White Lake area to Laona through heavily wooded Langlade County on Tuesday when the best routing from the GPS sent her onto a road that forked into a snowmobile trail.

Several miles down the frozen path she stopped and couldn’t turn around in about a foot and a half of snow surrounding the car.

She called 911 at 10:44 a.m.

Deputy Keith Svoboda said it took a while to find her and much longer to get heavy equipment in to free the vehicle. Deputies dropped her at a motel for the night.

Svoboda said the lesson is, “People shouldn’t believe everything those things tell you.”" GPS directions put her car on a snowmobile trail | greenbaypressgazette.com | Green Bay Press-Gazette

There Goes Chevy And Dodge

From CBS.
"The Obama administration will play a key role in reshaping General Motors' board of directors over the next six months, potentially giving it even greater control in the management of the storied American manufacturer.
" U.S. Plans Key Role In Naming GM Board - CBS News

Yes, I know there was an April Fools joke about NASCAR. The link from
The National Conversation.

I will still stand by my position. Obama will SCREW NASCAR NATION! Come on, today they will stack the board of directors tomorrow it's Chevy and Dodge! It's not their voter base and if they can stop bonuses , force CEO's to resign and take over the private sector, they sure the heck can redirect money spent on NASCAR.

Who's to say they will not try to cut back on drivers pay and sponsor limits. Maximum horsepower 300. No beer sold or brought into any track. A seat tax to every track that runs a cup race. When will it end. Who knows with this administration.

What will it be, who knows but remember, it's going to happen!

This is no April Fools joke.

Steve Kagen's, April Fools Joke

From Fox 11 WLUK Green Bay.
Wisconsin 8th District Congressman Steve Kagen is playing his constituents for fools, and it's not an April fools joke. You know that extra $15.00 you will receive on your next pay check. It's called sleight of hand, it's called now you see it and now you don't. Here is what Kagen is telling you.
""These are your tax dollars coming back home right where they belong: into your pocket. These dollars go a long way in the Midwest," Rep. Steve Kagen (D-8th Congressional District) said."
Payday tax cuts go into effect

The joke is on the people of the 8th District. What he is not telling you he has his hand in your other pocket to take it back. Now read this.
Tax professionals, however are warning that some could end up having to pay back a portion of the extra money they receive. "The burden is on you, as the recipient of the money, to watch it," Mellem said. According to Mellem, those who receive more than the allowed credit will have to pay it back on next year's income taxes.

Did you catch that, you have to pay it back!
Those with more than one job are the most likely to be affected.

I know a lot of people with two jobs. Most likely to be affected?
"You're going to get it a little at a time and it's easy to spend and to stimulate the economy - which is what the purpose is - but, at the end, if you owe money you're not going to be a happy camper," Mellem added.

Kagen's prank is on you, Steve Kagen is taking you for a FOOL!
For some, next year might be the first time they've ever owed after years of receiving a refund check at tax time.

Individuals that make more than $75,000 and couples that make more than $150,000 are not eligible for the tax break.

Surprise, surprise, no refund check next year. And Steve Kagen will be laughing as you write that check to Uncle Sam next April 15th!

Steve Kagen pulled this off and the joke is on the people of Wisconsin.

Check with your tax preparer if you don't believe me.

Handgun Microstamping In Wisconsin

From Richard Moore at The Lakeland-Times.

If you value your gun rights you need to read and call.

First shots fired over handgun microstamping in Wisconsin Study calls for more testing of “feasible but flawed” technology
Richard Moore
Investigative Reporter

Two Wisconsin lawmakers and the National Rifle Association hoisted red flags this week over what they say is a coming legislative proposal to mandate so-called handgun microstamping in Wisconsin.

The goal of microstamping is to track a firearm from spent bullets by etching the gun's make, model, and serial number on the weapon's firing pin, which would copy that information to the cartridge when the gun was fired.
" First shots fired over handgun microstamping in Wisconsin

"The real motive of this proposal is clear - to prevent people from owning guns," Grothman said. "But because that would not be politically viable at this time, the hard left will try to start by keeping guns out of the hands of the poor and the most vulnerable citizens. Founding father George Mason said the best way to enslave people is to disarm them, and that is the way our country is going."

There Goes NASCAR Nation

Picture from NASCAR.com

From CNBC.com

So our President took over GM and Chrysler. Can you say good bye to Chevrolet and Dodge at NASCAR races in the future.
"GM, Chrysler Get Ultimatum From Obama on Turnaround

By: AP | 30 Mar 2009 | 12:34 PM ET

President Obama asserted unprecedented government control over the auto industry Monday, rejecting turnaround plans from General Motors and Chrysler and raising the prospect of controlled bankruptcy for either ailing auto giant." GM, Chrysler Get Ultimatum From Obama on Turnaround - Automotive * US * News * Story - CNBC.com

Can you hear the talk from Washington, "we gave you bailout money now stop promoting ( giving money to car owners and their drivers) NASCAR!"

Question # 1, do you really think the left will try to take away NASCAR from those blue dog, red neck, NASCAR fans? NASCAR fans are from all fifty states, not just the south.

Question # 2, Will the left try to punish those right wing gun toting NASCAR folks that didn't vote for Obama and the party of the left?

Question # 3, After they try to shut down NASCAR through the takeover of GM and Chrysler, will NASCAR NATION create a back lash so large that it will make liberals heads spin?

The answer is yes to all three questions.

The left and some on the right just don't get NASCAR NATION! If things turn out the way I see it , it will be a back lash so great the left will not know what will hit them in 2010.

NASCAR nation is waiting to say the words Ronald Reagan once said.

" Go ahead, make my day."

There is so much more to learn. God is ever present in our lives and inseparable from us. "

"No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,'
because they will all know me,
