Republicans, "No More"

Shoebox over at No Runny Eggs has my beliefs. I'm getting sick and tired of these so called republicans.

No Runny Eggs » Blog Archive » Having Balls:

When it became apparent last year that the Republicans would retake the house I had conversations with several people who are much more knowledgeable of Republican leadership than I. I told them my reservations about Boehner becoming speaker and how everything I had seen from him lead me to believe that he was another Washington lifer who would say or do what he needed to to keep his position. I was told by several of them that Boehner was the “real deal.” While now living in Kentucky, I agreed to be from Missouri and be shown that Boehner was a conservative.

"No more!

I am now on record as saying that Boehner is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with the Republican party. Boehner is either a charlatan or ignorant. Regardless of which, he is not worthy of leading a party’s effort that is overwhelmingly made up of a base that desires, no, DEMANDS reductions in government spending.

This continuing resolution needs to be voted down. Boehner needs to be personally repudiated by any true House conservative for putting them in a position of having to support this sham of an agreement.

I hate Nancy Pelosi. I despise everything about the woman. Even with my level of disdain for her I give her props for one thing; she has a set of balls as big as two moons hung side by side. Nancy has balls and Boehner is a eunuch!"

A message to Ribble, Duffy and you other so called republicans. .

WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!

Boehner and RINO's have to go! I would hope national, state and local party leaders will get the hint or do we need change them too!

A proposal to eliminate invocations before Eau Claire County Board meetings doesn't sit well with at least one county supervisor.
'I think it's a little crazy,' said Supervisor Gary Gibson, who sometimes offers invocations before meetings. 'This country was founded on 'In God we trust.' '"

Nice Job Reid, What About Ethanol Mandates

Republican from Wisconsin Takes On Oil Subsidies | Gather:

"Reid Ribble is a freshman congressman from Wisconsin and is a member of the budget committee in the House of Representatives. Rep. Ribble is taking a path not tread by Republicans because it is usually against their interest. Mr. Ribble thinks oil companies should no longer receive oil subsidies from the U.S. government.

Currently oil companies get about $4 billion a year as tax breaks. During the State of the Union address, President Obama asked congress to stop providing oil companies with subsidies in light of record profits. For example, ExxonMobil recorded $31 billion in profits last year. Democrats also introduced a repeal of the subsidy connected to a continuing budget resolution but the Republicans."

How Can Gov't Order Lenders To Reimburse Homeowners

How have we come to this?

Gov't orders 14 lenders to reimburse homeowners - Yahoo! Finance:

"Derek Kravitz, AP Real Estate Writer, On Wednesday April 13, 2011, 2:42 pm EDT
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The federal government on Wednesday ordered 16 of the nation's largest mortgage lenders and servicers to reimburse homeowners who were improperly foreclosed upon.

Government regulators also directed the financial firms to hire auditors to determine how many homeowners could have avoided foreclosure in 2009 and 2010.

Citibank, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, the nation's four largest banks, were among the financial firms cited in the joint report by the Federal Reserve, Office of Thrift Supervision and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency,"

How far will gov't go with everyday Americans? When will we take back our gov't?

$75,000 donation of sunflowers to be planted for mourning doves

Weekly News Article Published: April 12, 2011 by the Central Office

MADISON –A donation of 250 bags of sunflower seed will be planted at numerous small fields across Wisconsin to support populations of mourning doves and other wildlife species.

The state Natural Resources Board accepted the donation valued at $75,000 from Ducks Unlimited and Dow AgroSciences at its March 23 meeting in Madison.

Each bag is sufficient for planting roughly 6 acres for a total of 1,500 acres of sunflowers and represents a roughly two-year supply at current planting levels."

Let's see, $75,000 divided by 250 bags = $300 a bag.

Wow, I never knew sunflower seeds were that expensive.

Tort Reform Important

From Richardd Moore. A good read on tort reform. It makes you wonder.

New survey shows why tort reform is important - Richard Moore

"Doctors make different decisions about their own health care, in other words, than they do when making recommendations to their patients. This article discussed a number of reasons for that, but I would suggest one factor in the difference is the fear of lawsuits.

It's easier to prescribe a treatment and warn of its side effects than to recommend no treatment – even when that is what you would opt for yourself – and be sued for malpractice later."
