Baby face Nelson was coined from Mark Belling over at 1130 WISN. Charlie Sykes and Jo Egelhoff use the term "HACK. You two are too kind.
From Jo over at FoxPolitics.
Since Nelson is representing a lot of people west of Pulaski in Maple Grove I thought I would throw this out there.
For Nelson to be a "hack" he would have to have political intelligence. As Jo points out, Nelson's political slumber party in Madison in 2007 was a stunt. Jo talks about an ad Nelson put out in June after the budget. Doyle and those that direct the democratic party put the budget ad together. Nelson just had his name tagged to it or went along for the ride. To pass the last state budget, baby face, Bernard Schaber and the rest of the democrats followed the whims of Jim Doyle. A hack would have to lead their party which Nelson is incapable of doing. To be a hack, Nelson would have to be politically smart. Can you relate any of the following with Tom Baby Face Nelson? From Thesaurus.com on the word "smart"
The 5th Assembly District voters need to find a conservative to vote Baby Face Nelson out of office.

"Is Rep. Nelson a political hack?
Well, strong language I suppose, to call somebody a hack, much less a political hack! My excuse is I’m quoting Charlie Sykes who on Tuesday was chatting with Jeff Wagner between their two shows. Charlie mentioned what I presume is this press release from Majority Leader Tom Nelson’s office (D-Kaukauna). The press release referenced this report from Wisconsin’s “Office of Recovery and Reinvestment,” supposedly documenting jobs created by $701.3M in stimulus dollars received by Wisconsin.
I suppose all kinds of folks have been called political hacks, simply as a term of derision. But Wikipedia gets us to the bottom of the proper (I suppose - ?) use of the word… " FoxPolitics.net - Appleton, WI News - What's really going on in the Fox Cities
