"Dead Deer Dropped on Sioux City Porch

(SIOUX CITY, IA) - Animal Control Officers spent Wednesday morning cleaning up an unfortunate and inappropriate prank at a Sioux City home. Someone dressed an already dead deer in a clown outfit and wig, and dropped it for a family to see. Officers held it at the Animal Control Center Wednesday afternoon.

Someone found the deer on their porch in the 2500 block of McFaul Street in Sioux City. Officers suspect a prank, considering the season, but say it's not funny, safe, or acceptable. "Don't do it. It's immature, it's illegal. It's a dead animal it doesn't need to be sitting on someone's porch. It needs to be disposed of by the right people," explained Animal Control Officer Jake Appel.
