ATV clubs inaugurate new loop through Mountain,
Lakewood area Sept. 24, 2011
Just in time for fall colorama, a new all-terrain vehicle trail meandering through eastern Langlade and northern Oconto counties has opened for riders.
The 40-mile trail was inaugurated one week ago today by members of the Woodland Trails ATV Club, Hidden Bear Trail ATV Club and the Red Arrow Snowmobile/ATV Club. The group started at the Lakewood ATV Trailhead on the Nicolet State Trail, went north to Townsend and turned onto the new loop. The riders had lunch at Animal's Bear Trail Inn and ended up back on the Nicolet State Trail 40 miles later.Link to Hidden Bear ATV Club
