Kagen Stacking Listening Session

"4:16 PM -- An urgent plea...The Brown Co. Democratic Party is trying to stack a health care reform listening session next Saturday with Congressman Steve Kagen. See their email below. I urge you to call or go online to the link included in the email and make reservations. They fear opposing voices! Please let as many friends know about this as you can!



If you are interested in an actual listening session or know someone who is please read below. Let's make sure only those who are actually interested in a debate get these tickets. The Right Wing has done everything it can to hold back health reform. Let's make sure they don't disrupt this event as well!
The League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay is sponsoring an Education Forum on Health Care Reform.

Representative Steve Kagen, MD 8th Congressional District
Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 from 10-11:30AM
Brown County Library 515 Pine Street, Green Bay, WI

Entrance with free ticket only (Limited to four per person) Total Tickets allotted will be 250.

Ticket Reservations: Go to http://greatergreenbay.wi.lwvnet.org/ Then click on "Contact Us" and send an email with your name and a phone number and the number of tickets needed. For phone reservations, call Julie at (920) 434-0764 and leave your name and phone number. Tickets will be picked up just prior to the event at the library.

Program Format: The purpose of this event is to have participants get an update and answers to their questions about the current status of health reform at the federal level.

Participants will be asked to write their questions on a card provided. The questions will be asked by a League of Women Voters moderator to Representative Kagen.

No signs are allowed in League of Women Voters forums."
